Uefa cup for Cardiff ????

I dont know the full story on this one and i know they still have to beat Portsmouth but surely Cardiff deserve a place in the uefa cup if they go on to win the FA Cup at Wembly. Uefa are saying that they might get a wild card entry into the competition. If they are in the English leauge then surely they should be under the English fa in my opinion.

Good luck to Cardiff in the final anyway, makes a nice change to have a cup final without the big hitters.

Agree with you Nathan, should they win the FA Cup then give them the European place. Mind you, in the good/bad old days when Chester City used to compete in the Welsh Cup (yes – there is one!), it was always understood that, should they win it, they wouldn’t kop for the European place as they were English. Still, we English aren’t petty like that.

Didn’t know the Welsh Cup was still going

I agree that Cardiff should get a place in the Uefa cup if they defeat Portsmouth at Wembley which I really hope they do as I think it would be good for the competition…………..oh, also because I hate Portsmouth.
