    As for the watering – let’s be honest its a joke at Aintree. The National is more often than not run on good ground.

    Good ground is better than frozen…

    Aintree is supposed to be a sort of capstone on the NH season. Would make no sense to run it in the middle of winter.

    I like this time of year. Mainly because theres a decent hunt card most weekends in my neck of the woods. Purely parochial opinion

    the month that bores me is august. York is fine yes, but the weekends are dreary
