St Donats was very impressive in the trademark Auteuil quagmire last time out.

His jockey probably got the best of the ground by racing wide under the trees down the far side, but even so, this was a storming performance: https://youtu.be/Awvz8XpvlTk

16/1 would be gigantic IF you knew he was coming over for the race and IF you knew it would be testing ground at the Festival.

    Those are big IFs.

“What have public school boys got to be subversive about?” was the still-infant Chezza’s take on that movie.

Over 50 years later and Chezza still awaits a media and arts which truly and proportionately reflects the real world – there’s still far too much material about the privileged.

In the meantime, St Donats – remember the name!

It’s all the fault of public school , they tried to fix him , played with his brain but the country nearly fell because of it ….

    ” i was cured all right ”

This is the best film I’ve seen in a cinema …. Around midnight in 2000 when it was rereleased ….. The sound and colour , Kubrick was the master

I thought she took a bit of a hold and got in close to a couple of flights, but Lossiemouth has pulverised a fair field there.

Very pleased with that. Her jump at the second last bothered me and I hope she does not do anything like that at Cheltenham. But it is going to take a good performance by a gelding to give her 7lbs and a beating.

It’s not often I back something at 4/1 ante-post for the Triumph and am on good terms with myself in December.

That 7lb allowance is a weapon for a decent jumping filly/mare.

Jupiter Du Guite or something like that its name

Get on lads if you can! Even if you don’t like the horse surely we’ll be getting double the odds, may be a soft ground horse but 20/1 gotta be value

Connections in shock after the win today so the likelihood of following up here unlikely i would say unless the ground is a proper bog.

I agree Mike, I don’t think he’ll win the Triumph just felt 20/1 was value too good to turn down.

Very impressive winner and a decent time for the ground.

But does he need it Soft and if so will he get it at the Cheltenham Festival?
