Bad news for those of us with Topofthegame as our star horse…
November 9, 2020 at 15:54 #1510206Yes. I didn’t have him as my star horse, but that doesn’t mean I’m not miffed!
November 9, 2020 at 19:34 #1510218I was considering TOTG as one of my horses both this season & last. He could have been the best for sometime but had his fair share of troubles which put me off. Hope racing aside he gets better.
You've got to accentuate the positive.
Eliminate the negative.
Latch on to the affirmative.
Don't mess with mister in between.November 10, 2020 at 19:03 #1510305Master Tommytucker gets off the mark for the season today, and gets me up and running.
Master Tommytucker 11.7
November 10, 2020 at 19:39 #1510308Much better today VtC, at least he has worked out how to run down the fences if he needs to. Looks to have lost some of that flamboyant potential brilliance of last year along with the carelessness but should definitely pick up more races. Where would you send him next?
November 10, 2020 at 22:16 #1510321Just got round to watching it, long day at work, and didn’t get a minute.
Yeah, much better today, really happy with that, though I don’t think I’ll ever really relax when he’s running.
I think short term, The Peterborough Chase might be the obvious target, but I put him up on The Ryanair thread, and still not completely given up on him for that. Happy to see I can still get 50’s, for all I haven’t taken it yet.

November 11, 2020 at 16:42 #1510383Rob up and running, with a win for his star horse Elvis Mail, while Fiddlerontheroof adds to the tally of Highflyer.
Elvis Mail 12.8
Fiddlerontheroof 11.9November 11, 2020 at 18:29 #1510402Thankfully Lucy Alexander uses a good brand of super glue as Elvis Mail belted a few fences, including walking through two out. Still won eased down though which promises well if he sharpens his jumping.
As an aside I’d have been seriously cheesed off if I’d not got the winner as I had 2 of the 4 running for me!
November 12, 2020 at 09:18 #1510438Yes, I agree. Only 4 runners but it looked a decent contest.
November 13, 2020 at 00:42 #1510499Nice win in The Clonmel Oils Chase for Bachasson, scoring for myself.
Bachasson 22.8
November 14, 2020 at 14:28 #1510685Autumnal kicked things off today, with Asterion Forlonges winning at Punchestown, while I followed up in the next with Felix Desjy.
Asterion Forlonges 11.3
Felix Desjy 17.4November 15, 2020 at 00:11 #1510733Felix Desjy ran a nice race today Bobby well done he was relentless.
Not sure if Darver Star is liking those big fences? he got round though and finished off his race nicely.
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...November 15, 2020 at 14:50 #1510817Thanks Bobby & good luck in the Arkle with him
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...November 15, 2020 at 16:18 #1510846Guys, I’ve still not done my spreadsheet yet, so bare with me, should there be any minor errors/omissions.
Good scoring day today….
The Big Breakaway won nicely for Coops in the opener, before we had big moves in the leaderboard.
Fury Road was a big scorer for GDC, but it was just the start of a good day for TAPK, TYT, and Tonge, who all scored courtesy of Abacadabras as well, and Tonge topped it off, having her as star horse. Plenty more of you had Abacadbras including Geezer and Pigs, who had it as star horse, while Flyers and Jac are up and running thanks to Put The Kettle On.
Abacadabras 27.4
Fury Road 26.1
Put The Kettle On 27.2
The Big Breakaway 13.3November 15, 2020 at 16:53 #1510853Thanks VTC. Good day for me. Mixed emotions with 2 of mine from last year’s competition running so well (Cloudy Glen & Ramses De Teille) as I’ve spurned them this year but it’s nice to finally get some points on the board! Serves me right for not at least backing them.
November 15, 2020 at 17:27 #1510860Nice to be off the mark, although Saint Sonnet has already been consigned to the transfer list and i’m eagerly awaiting the transfer window to get him out!
