Obviously I would have put Frankel, but some one else had already listed him.
I think the list is a bit recent, needs some older horses in it.February 11, 2013 at 20:29 #429296Dayjur

GoldikovaFebruary 16, 2013 at 00:03 #429710I think it is too early to put Frankel in the Hall Of Fame. He’s a sure fire entrant but leave him a while and see how he gets on at stud in order to fully appreciate his legacy. In American Football even the best players are left for some time before they are enshrined in Canton Ohio.
With this in mind I am nominating two from further back.
Speed machine Lochsong, who could trap like a greyhound and the underrated Mtoto who overcame foot problems and defeated Reference Point to kick start an upward curve that should have included an Arc win. I appreciate that not many would probably put him forward but I think he had something special about him.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
February 17, 2013 at 04:11 #429837Pretty much beyond belief that Ribot isn’t already on the list. Ribot is a must along with Frankel, 30 races undefeated between them. Arguably the two greatest thoroughbreds to have raced in Europe since WW2.

Let’s remove Dancing Brave and Brigadier Gerard then.
