You've got to accentuate the positive.
    Eliminate the negative.
    Latch on to the affirmative.
Don't mess with mister in between.

Since we’ve had a horse returned at 85/40, there’s something of an issue with the rules. The scoring has a gap between 2/1 and 9/4. I’m going to award points as if the selection was 2/1 and round down. But in future we could tidy up the rules to accommodate this (admittedly unusual) problem. Would be interested to hear people’s thoughts about this.

I noticed the gap when I was scoring my horse and rounded up as the previous scoring bracket ended at 2/1, but I’m fine with rounding down as well. As you said, we just need to amend the scoring to clarify for everyone.

I’m very thankful we have a comp, so I’m perfectly fine with whatever you decide TKF! :good:

Wd Euro, and thanks for the updates TKF.

A suggestion regarding the 85/40 question is to update the following line going forward in the scoring rules as follows…

    85/40 to 4/1 – 1st: 14 pts – 2nd: 6 pts – 3rd: 4 pts – 4th: 3 pts – 5th: 1 pt

WELL DONE ANDRE :good: :good: :good: And podium finishes too!!
I was watching this intently over the last two races (saddo that I am ) because I was trying to work out if the boss could win it over the last two races and unfortunately she came with a rattle but didn’t quite se the trip out but what a comp.
Thanks TKF for running it. As always great fun and I am of to the bakes now to buy the cakes
