November 29, 2015 at 22:53 #1223830Could I just add there should be at least 3 posters of the year and thank you Joni for your kind words
(the cheques in the post). If it hadn’t have been for Bryan Cooper I would have nominated Nathan as hero of the year for everything he has been through and still managed to make posts full of wit and wicked humour and turn out some great competitions even though those packets of starmix must be well past their sell by date and the Persian Punch book has been on offer so many times it’s become as difficult to achieve as balancing a 5 pence coin on a lemon in a glass of water.
Joni you are the one of the most savvy and knowledgeable tipsters on here and you and I both share a passion for Frankel and Sir Henry and a sadness at the loss of Warren Place with the retirement of Lady Jane Cecil, but at least we have Frankel’s 2yo’s to look out for next year.

I don’t know how Bobby (VTC) manages to keep up with everyone on the 10 to follow and I love his sense of humour and fairness to everyone even when he hasn’t scored a point yet in my compy he still keeps coming back..a real trooper. Also great generosity shown by TAPK with his donation towards the prize money in the 10 to follow competition.
Steve Caution is very much missed on here and Ginger is just Ginger and although I can’t get my head around his way of betting on so many horses in the same race, he seems to get some value from it and make a profit.
It’s a big melting pot of great posters on here, difficult to name just one really but everyone is highly thought of whatever their opinion, it’s what makes TRF a great forum..Jac
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...November 29, 2015 at 23:21 #1223833It’s all a fix anyway, so doesn’t make much odds who wins.
Hopefully no new bees will be able to vote and nobody who’s posted, say, less than 20 posts all year should have a say. That should help stop the people with more than one account making a mockery of these great awards
November 30, 2015 at 09:50 #1223857Poster of the year ~ Alan Potts
If you continue to insist on keeping your true identity secret DB then you really shouldn’t make such silly glaring errors
‘Ricky Lake’ has voted for this mysterious Alan Potts character in previous years; but I for one haven’t seen a single post from him
Who is he?
November 30, 2015 at 09:54 #1223858Poster of the Year – Norrette
November 30, 2015 at 20:03 #1223896I’m sure you know who my nominee is, Drone, but I should have said apracing which is the name he uses on here.
Now, who is Norrette??
November 30, 2015 at 22:11 #1223916I’ve been through all the posts so far and tried to come up with names other then those already mentioned (to be fair some of which I probably would have nominated had I got in first).

November 30, 2015 at 23:55 #1223937…can I be your dotty racing mad granny now then, Carry on Katie…?[ps I now have an online betting account and spend my days [now in retirement] putting 5 pence bets on various horses, trainers and jockeys]. A thousand curses on DB [now villain of the year]by the way for mentioning Keilan Woods who is my current ‘jockey to follow’ who I WAS keeping all to myself. VtC for poster of the year, by the way. Pam Sly for trainer [flat and jumps] of the year who always bails me out when my account is getting dangerously low.Need to think about the others.
December 1, 2015 at 09:51 #1224030I’m sure you know who my nominee is, Drone, but I should have said apracing which is the name he uses on here.
Now, who is Norrette??
Ah right, a bit dim of me that
If apracing is reading: could I ask if it was you, or Ann, or the horse who took the difficult decision to retire Sizing Europe?
Norrette started this good thread:
