T.D.Barron: Carlisle 5.45 Kashstaree 16/1. (Sole runner at meeting, selection has blue against it on exchanges, 7lb claimer on board, gambling stable, Barron’s had more coups than you or I have had hot dinners).

P.Cole: Nott. 7.20 Circumvent 11/4. (Increasingly hot fav. Cole should always be backed when he has 1 horse at a meeting).

R.Hannon: W’sor 8.05 Lord Ofthe Shadows 5/1. (Hannon runs several at the meeting, but this one is joint fav and steamer and looks a value price). 2nd 5/1

M.Stoute: W’sor 8.35 Savant 7/1. (Sole runner at meeting, well bred, will improve on last run, all sorts of arguments for those shorter in market, but this looks value).

[Not_Disgraced]

Disappointing show from all except Lord Ofthe Shadows, which was held up far too long off the pace to be able to catch the winner.
