Finians Oscar due to make his Chasing debut but Tizzard has said he may be withdrawn if the ground is too quick. Currently 4/7 with Paddy Power.
He really should win if he shows, but i think ill play e/w on alcala and/or black corton, i like the idea of them having been busy(ish) over the last month or so, should be fit which at this side of the season can sometimes be more important than class (although finians should be atleast 10-15 lbs better than this lot)
I’m a massive fan of Nicholl’s horse Topofthegame. He ran creditably several times last year, and has always been a chaser in the making. Providing he has filled into his enormous frame enough, I think he could be a star this season.
No bet in this just now, and should Finians run, then I might just sit it out altogether, but at 12’s, Aintree My Dream looks a fair price to make the places.
Alcala at 10/1 e/w seems to be looking good now for 3 places…… considering theirs only 4 runners lol
Wish I had went for Aintree My Dream each way, but just didn’t want to have a go. I really like this horse, but I’ll enjoy without a bet. I’d like to see a big run from Aintree, and at the same time, I hope to see a proper star performance from Finians Oscar.
Not good for you there Ham, that is just one of those things, but still unlucky mate. Would have benefitted me if I’d actually bet Aintree, but there you go.
Won as he ought to, but ok there from Finians.
