November 8, 2021 at 19:34 #1566900Thanks for that SamD, and very welcome FF. At the last post I said we had the Magnificent 7,
but we’re up to the Dirty Dozen now. Still time enough for a good few stables before 11am
on Saturday 13th.November 8, 2021 at 20:21 #1566907Green’s freebies are in, I’ve made it the baker’s dozen. Thanks BigG.
November 8, 2021 at 21:38 #1566919Good to see you with us again Green, best of luck
November 9, 2021 at 01:41 #1566943In as Edantony.
Is anyone here doing a few paid entries and if so what are your perming strategies? I tend to do ok at picking out a couple of high scoring slightly left field horses (5-20% picked) but never get my perm tight enough for my limited budget (will be doing 12 lists). I probably cover too many but part of that is I don’t put anything in more than 75% of lists due to injury and/or underperformance risk.
November 9, 2021 at 01:43 #1566944ps. You can read the thoughts of various pundits at the RP and ATR.
November 10, 2021 at 20:09 #1567055Thanks for organising this Graham. Usually no luck in this competition but forsake of a fiver have entered it and you never know.
My entry is TRF RR 77 (just in case you’re wondering)
The best things in life are free.
But you can give them to the birds and bees.November 10, 2021 at 23:00 #1567075Neil don’t forget your Free Stable. Jac
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...November 11, 2021 at 04:16 #1567083Very welcome Neil and thanks for putting that reminder up Jac, a free stable
counts just the same in the TRF League, although doesn’t get a sniff at the
big money in the TTTF (Jumps), although some nice prizes awarded of course
season tickets.Up to sweet 16 Stables now, and there’s always the last minute rush
November 13, 2021 at 01:30 #1567317‘Sultans Of Swing’ is stable-no 22 in league.
Thanks for invite, BigG.
November 13, 2021 at 02:06 #1567321Good to have you with us Sam and as a man of my word,
as we have reached at least 20 stables (22 at present) then
there will be a runner-up prize of £25 to go along with the
£50 for the league winner. Be lucky peopleNovember 16, 2021 at 03:41 #1567782Well this doesn’t even count as a week, but as Monday is my usual
update I thought I’d mention a few who have started with a bang.
None more so than Scottish Pride who had the very brave Midnight
Shadow who must have heard the sound of the hooves behind closing
in in the Paddy Power at Cheltenham, but got his nose past the post
in front. Not only did Scottish Pride have MS but also Sharjah who
was mightily impressive in the Morgiana. Off to a great start Mickey,
55.20 points and 1st leader on the boardNeil (TRF RR77) looks to have picked out one that could be a bit special
in Nube Negra who had 3 very decent horses trailing in his
wake in the Shloer Chase at Cheltenham on Sunday. Only one in the
league with him Neil, surely some big points to come to add to the
23.20 he picked up.Loudwater Farm dug out a bit of a dark horse in Vanillier who being
a splendid looking grey, stormed home in the Florida Pearl at Punchestown
on Sunday. 22.50 points and 3rd in the league. Very well done LFThe only other 2 scorers over the weekend, Inthestream and Man Superstars,
both picked up 21.40 points for Third Time Lucky who didn’t have to
break sweat to win at Cheltenham on SaturdayWell we’re off and running, some good looking horses for the guys on the
points but they’ve all but only raised the tapes on this competition. The first of the bonus races coming up on Saturday and a host of you have
A Plus Tard. If that one romps in that’s a cool 50 points, plus the
£1 e/w on the Tote. Note of caution, its Haydock which is practically
a home game for Bristol De Mai who nobody has. Just sayinAnother couple of hopefuls in the league, at the head of the market in
the Coral Cup at Ascot are Buzz and Goshen. Best of
luck with them or if impossible puzzles are your thing, have a look at the
Troytown at Navan on SundayHere’s the 1st scoreboard as per the TTTJ site

Great weekend of racing and it’s brought about quite a few swings in the League.
Mickey (Scottish Pride) ousted off the top, despite having the very decent looking
Royale Pigaille, he came up against the even more impressive A Plus tard. I think
it was still agreat run Mickey, I’ve got him in my stable too, I think we’ll see him
even more impressive when it comes up soft. However the biggest jump of the week, and top scorer with 88.80 points, Is Goodfellow
who knocked off a great Treble with the aforementioned A Plus Tard winning the bonus
Betfair Chase, Buzz winning the Coral Hurdle at Ascot and Bob Olinger doing not much
more than having to go through the motions at Gowran Park. I think you might run up
a cricket score with that trio Goodfellow. From a blank first weekend to the top of
the heap. Very weell done GAnother trio striker, and moving onto Goodfellow’s shoulder is FF91 with both A Plus
Tard and Bob Olinger and also the very impressive Bravemansgame who barely came off
the bridle to win at Haydock on Saturday. He looks a real bull of a horse and headed
for the Kauto Star on Boxing Day according to Paul Nicholls. Looks a likely candidate
for the Ryanair I reckon. There’s barely 2 points between 3rd, 4th and 5th place with all 3, Loudwater Stables
The Racecourse Gallopers and Inthestream, having A Plus Tard in their stable, but
particularly liked the look of Buzz who TRG also has in his stable. The further they
went, the better he looked. It looks like he’s going to be pushed up to 3m by Henderson
and looks a likely contender for the Stayers Hurdle at the Festival. Great start by all
3 of youIn total there were 10 stables who had A Plus Tard and 9 with Bob Olinger. Too many
to go through them all, but well done to those who were switched on including them,
with the rest of us (me included) left scratching our heads as to why we left
them outOne stable, Green’s Freebies, kept the faith with Lostintranslation and was well
rewarded when he seemed to have his Mojo back winning at Ascot. That was after a
long lay-off so maybe he’s having an Indian Summer as he’ll be 10 after the New
Year. Nice pick GreenA few biggies out on show over the weekend. Paisley Park is out at Newbury on
Friday in the Ladbrokes Long Distance Hurdle and I’m looking forward to
seeing Eklat De Rire in the Ladbrokes Trophy but the race of the weekend for me
is the Hatton Grace at Fairyhouse on Sunday. The prospect of Honeysuckle, Klassical
Dream and Saldier squaring up would be some race.Well that’s all from me this week, well done to those that got points, and to
those still on the starting blocks, it’s a long road ahead. Good luck everyoneHere are the scores as per the TTTF (jumps) site.

desktop-bannerNovember 22, 2021 at 23:51 #1568662Well done to Goodfellow and all off to a great start last week..I also had Buzz and A Plus Tard along with Protektorat (2nd) in my other (Free Stable) but really pleased they did so well.
Thanks for doing this again Graham and hope to get some points on the TRF board soon. Jac
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...November 23, 2021 at 02:12 #1568679Thanks Jac. I’ve no doubt at all that the dark Angels will soon
be striding up the league, that’s a class stable you have. They
have still to show their hand, but the will soon I’m sure
