Made a couple of changes during the weekend, one of which should be scoring at York. :good:

    Week 11 Update.

I’ll try to make as much sense of this as I can, although the Tote site
    is playing up.

Nathan (Blackbeard I’ll av EEE) is still the torch bearer for the TRF
and leads on 501.89. Thats 19.46 points up on last week, despite the
only score in week 11 (14th – 20th August) being River Tiber who scored
1.40 points for his 3rd place at Dauville on Sunday 20th. The stable
also has Highfield Princess as “the race list is empty” despite the
fact that HP won the King George V Qatar Stakes at Goodwood on Friday
4th August. Did they previously miss Hamish’s win on the same date
in the King’s Plate at Goodwood. The 18.04 points Hamish got would
make the score just about right, but I’m fishing. Anyway, Nathan,
by hook or by crook still retains the top spot. Hang in there Nathan :good:

At least the 2nd spot is easier to understand. Carlisle Are Up hold
the same spot as last week despite having a blank week and Mickey wasn’t
alone as Flat Out made no further progress. However, nobody was shooting
at Neil so 377.13 was sufficient to keep Neil firmly on the 3rd podium
position. So the bottom line is that there is no change at the top.

We have to go down to 7th spot to mark up Dark Angels (points appeared in
my last print out, but only because it was late). So Running Lion now
gets it’s official mark up of 1.30 for 2nd spot last Wednesday at Salisbury.
No change of position Jac, but at the sharp end of the competition it might
    just be crucial :good:

In a very quiet week, we have to go down to 10th spot for a decent result
for FF91, 22.20 points gifted by Ryan Moore who coasted home on Henry
Longfellow at the Curragh on Saturday. He looks like he’s got plenty more
wins in him. Great choice for your stabe FF and top scorer of the week :good:

Chezza’ Cheating Charlatans, I think you’re owe Arrest a public apology Chezza
as he won the Geoffrey Freer easing down at the end. Still just outside that top
10 but the 18.04 points claws you that bit nearer. I think the penny finally
dropped with Arrest. Maybe now that he knows where the winning post is he might
just tot up a few more points :good:

Everyone below Chezza, had a lie-in, however I don’t expect that to be the case
next week with York’s terrific looking meeting abound with Stable horses that
are in with a real shout. Too many to name, but I’ll make an exception for
Paddington. My only worry for him, having won his last 7 is that 6 of them were
this year. He’s 3, can he keep up that level?, if he can he’s got to be the horse
    of the year.

Good luck to all this week and here’s the TTTF (flat) league score.

    BigG,
I’ve subbed in Highfield Princess for Arrest so I think the missing points would be his win at Newbury, Perhaps ??

Ah, I didn’t consider that. Perhaps one left your stable that
acquired the points I couldn’t find. As they say, It’ll all come
    out in the wash

    Thanks Nathan :good:

To the untrained eye it might appear that I have about as much chance of winning this as I have of ever beating BigG in an arm wrestle.

However, I am about to embark on a devastating late summer/early autumn winning surge of epic proportions.

To spare everyone the humiliating pain of witnessing me come from last to first with a late run even Jamie Spencer wouldn’t dare attempt, I’m willing to cut a deal.

If every other contestant will post their agreement here by midnight at the end of Bank Holiday Monday, I am generously prepared to call it a draw.

You can’t say fairer than THAT!

    Can you?

    Week 12 Update (actually 13  )

Well I eventually made it back here after having family visits
for 2 weeks and I’m up in Pitlochry, half cut wouldn’t you know,
but still prepared to make sense of a desperate 17 who may be
cowering (or pissing themselves laughing) at Chezza’s yet to
be shown dominance. He’s not one for idle threats so has to be
taken seriously. Do we throw in the towel ? There appears to be
some resistance, none more so than Mickey (Carlisle Are Up), who
has already given the fingers to Chezza, and makes great strides
to topple Nathan (Blackbeard I’ll av EEE), as Frank says, he’s
number one, top of the list, King of the hill, A number one.
Having said all that, it looks like his 70.05 points have come
from horses he’s shipped out in the transfer as none of his stable
are showing points. Either that or I’m more pissed than I thought.
In any case, Carlisle Are Up are indeed up with 540.40 points.
A good piece of slight of hand Mickey and you’re leaving the rest
(Chezza included) in your wake. Top man, well done sir :yahoo:

Nathan (Blackbeard I’ll av EEE) scores 14.84 and again like CAU
it’s not for those in his stable for week 12 (28th August – 3rd
September)These transfers don’t half bugger it up for me, maybe
they should show the 2 at the bottom of the list as transferred
out. But then again, it’s the tote so WTF do I know. Anyway, round
about 23 points behind (516.74) you are still on the shoulder of the
leader and everything to play for :good:

Mom’s Summer Flatters 23, squeezes on to the podium in 3rd place,
easing out Flat Out with 15.30 points from feck knows where (I’m
thinking of giving up this week) I’ll blame the transfers. Well done
MOM, the front 2 may have made a bit of distance from the rest, but
have they gone off too fast?. Still a good way to go and 388.18 points
    keeps you in the hunt.

Threenaps jumps 3 places to 4th place, and yes his stable doesn’t show
any points for this week so swaps must be the reason for his mighty jump
of 82.23 points to 382.49. Well done, whatever they were :good:

Okay, I can see what way this week is going so I’ll just say well done
to everyone who made points this week and post the scores.

Good luck if you’ve got one running over at the Curragh, plenty of you
will and also in the Group 1 Betfair Cup Sprint Stakes, Shaquille would
be a popular winner in the league.

Sorry it’s a bit short, but it was doing my head in. Here’s the important

My 82.23 came from Mustahdaf and Continuois winning at York.

This weekend will be very interesting, if Shaquille, Tahiyra, and Highfield Princess all win, then I think the final furlongs of the competition will be all about the current top two fighting out the finish for top place.

Has the Tote TTF site gone down? It hasn’t updated any scores since Tahiyra and Auguste Rodin won yesterday.

My ‘swap in’ Henry Longfellow runs today..only problem he has to be better than City Of Troy, and he could be, so looking forward to this one.

With Shaquille failing to score yesterday it leaves the fight for top position wide open. I’m hoping Dark Angels can sneak up a few places but with half my stable ailing no chance of
getting near the top 3. I do have Gregory, my other swap in who runs next Saturday in the Leger. :good:

Best of luck everyone and big thank you to Graham for his lively updates.. :good: Jac

I’m obliged for that threenaps. I think, in the cold light of day, ie not
pissed, I’ve worked out what the problem was…..me.

With family (with Grandson) visiting for a week, followed by family
(without Grandson) visiting the following week I’ve completely lost
the place being over the moon, on cloud 9, in 7th heaven…..Ad Infinitum,
and it seems I missed a week  The scores have always been correct,
but it seems week 11 was indeed week 11 but week 12 (as above) should actually
have been week 13. The real week 12 was missed. I’ve dug out my hairshirt and
I’m flagellating (steady now) as we speak.

I’ve set my alarm for Monday, when week 14 should have us all back on a straight
course. My humble apologies, only 6 weeks to go when the winner will be announced
    after Saturday 21st October.

Yes Jac, it seems they have taken a leaf out of my book
and been out on the vino collapso. If they haven’t got
it sorted out by today I’ll get in touch with them and
tell them to get their finger out.

Good luck with Henry Longfellow, it won’t surprise you
to know I’ll be shouting on Bucanero Fuerte. What about
a dead heat between the 2, that would keep us in the
    points :good:

Checking out another winner yesterday, POST IMPRESSIONIST and they’ve not given him any points either. All wins yesterday are counted as zero (unplaced).

They’ve not been hacked have they.

    P.S.

At least VTC keeps the score updated, even if he’s blind drunk after a binge with his mates.

The tote has now been updated.

As mentioned in Chezza’s August Bank Holiday Quiz

    16. How many pints of Brewsters Old Scrumpy (15% proof) would you need to drink before you’d square up to BigG?

They clearly didn’t want to make BigG angry or this could happen

    Week 14 (honest)

You would think Carlisle Are Up would be satisfied, nay delighted with landing
the Irish Champion Stakes and 54.45 points with Auguste Rodin. But no, he’s
got to land the runner up and another 13.50 points with Luxembourg. You must
have been over the moon Mickey to see that pair wrap it up between them. Terrific
pairing for your stable. A further 67.95 points has Mickey sitting still (ok I’ll
give the old blue eyes bit a rest this week) top of the League on 608.35 points.
You’re giving them all a bit to do to catch you Mickey, superb stuff :yahoo:

Blackbeard I’ll av EE isn’t quite ready for throwing the towel in yet and Tahiyra
was an impressive winner of the Matron Stakes. A further 28.05 points leaves Nathan
a bit behind our leader on 544.79 but with 6 weeks to go there’s plenty of time left
to haul Mickey in. Keep the challenge going Nathan :good:

MOM’s Summer Flatters 23 had no problem holding onto their 3rd spot, with the double
of the previously mentioned pair Auguste Rodin and Tahiyra for 82.50 points, and a
couple of points, 1.75 (near enough), for a weekly tally of 84.25 points and an overall
score of 472.43. A couple of weeks like that MOM and you’re on the coat-tails of the
    leader. Well done mate :good:

Hold the front page, is it a bird?, is it a plane?, no it’s the Dark Angels who have
found their 2nd wind and come screaming through from 8th to 4th spot with a sparkling
treble of Auguste Rodin, Tahiyra, both winners above, but also Henry Longfellow who
sauntered to the win in the National Stakes at the Curragh on Sunday and 26.70 points
for a staggering weekly total of 109.20 points :yahoo:
That’s some charge up the leaderboard Jac for an overall tally of 463.51.
Biggest mover and top scorer of the week Jac. Your fancy for the 2000 Guineas Henry
Longfellow is best priced 5/1 now Jac, just as well you got in early. Superb :yahoo:

Flat Out stays in 5th, despite having a very nice double with Auguste Rodin and Tahiyra.
A timely boost of 82.50 points FA which takes you a decent step up the ladder to 461.88
    points. Great week :good:

Three Naps drops a place to 6th, which hardly seems fair seeing as they landed the first
2 in the Irish Champion Stakes. 67.95 points for Auguste Rodin and Luxembourg would on
most weeks see you moving up TN, but there have been some high scorers this week. It’s
still a very decent score :good:

Seventh place for Sultans Of Swing who holds his place with the very well fancied Auguste
Rodin and Tahiyra. Two high scorers with 82.50 between them and a total score of 446.89
points. Terrific scoring SOS and definitely heading the right way :good:

The remainder of the top 10, Man Superstars drops a couple to 8th, FF91 remains in 9th
and Michael Walsh nicks into the top 10 with Auguste Rodin and Tayiyra.

As for this weekend, the St Leger is the big one. You wont hear Sultans Of Swing, Dark
Angels or myself complaining if the favourite Gregory wins and for that matter Chezza’s
Cheating Charlatans wont be complaining, in fact we’ll never hear the end of it, if Arrest
romps in as Chezza is the only one with him in his stable.

Have a decent weekend anyway if you’re having a punt or not. I’ll
try not to turn Green Neil :good:
