    FINAL WARNING !!

The competition closes to entries in just over 90 minutes. If you’re
still intending putting in an entry, you’re cutting it pretty fine.
Can I also ask, if you have got a stable/stables already entered in
the competition, but as yet haven’t joined the TRF League, can you
please please do it before the cut off as it causes me a great deal
of work finding out from the Tote when you actually pushed the button
    to enter the league.

It should be more or less instantly, but owing to the wheels grinding
slowly at the Tote, there have been some going through late. So to give
a slight bit of leeway, I’ll accept entries into the league prior to the
first race at Epsom on Friday. I think that’s being more than fair so please
don’t put me in the position that I have to say, sorry but you DO NOT QUALIFY
FOR ANY TRF PRIZE MONEY if you haven’t entered the league prior to the 1st
    race at Epsom tomorrow.

Very best of luck to everyone, we’re slightly short this time, only 15 with
just over an hour to go, I think the jumps draws in more entries but we’ll
    have a ball regardless :good:

I did say that I would make a small concession and allow
anyone into the league as long as hey were in before the
1st race on Friday. So Midnight obviously had their stable
entered in the competition before 6pm last night and has
their stable entered in the TRF league prior to the 2.00pm
cut off. Unless someone fires one in in the next 10 minutes
then that is the league complete with 17 stables. No exceptions.

Derby 2nd (beaten half a length) not in the list of 531. If only there had been a declaration stage on Monday or something that the Tote could have used…

Yes it seems not quite right ep that a runner in the Premier
race of the year wasn’t in the list. Bit of a head scratcher

Chezza’s not too happy with the Tote Ten To Follow software either.

Chezza typed in Emily Upjohn, Soul Sister and Auguste Rodin, hit the submit button and was given Westover, Savethelastdance, Arrest and Military Order instead!

It’s a pig of a site Chezza. I’ve not heard that one before, but
    nothing would surprise me.

I’d second that, while I did a quick pick and it give me Auguste Rodin, I wanted to substitute it for something else after the Guineas flop. All I got was

Aftertiming but I was thinking of picking Ace Impact (won the French Derby today) in the TTF after looking through the French Derby runners on Thursday, plus I saw it had been entered for all the big races (Eclipse, Irish Champion, Arc). Not in the list (and too late to request for it to be added), but at least had a very small bet at a boosted 13-1 for interest in the race.

Well done to those who got the Derby and Oaks winners permed though. I had Soul Sister in 2 of my 4 paid lists, but knowing that there are some people/syndicates who put in 100’s of entries I took a chance and omitted Auguste Rodin even though I’m a massive fan of his sire Deep Impact. The effortless athleticism that saw him almost glide across the turf was a thing of beauty: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qY_puVhDQgY&ab_channel=WorldHorseRacing

Pity you didn’t get Ace Impact in EP, that would have been
a nice one for your stable. At least you got a decent return
on the horse so that softens the blow.

I get why you left Auguste Rodin out, it’s hard to beat these
huge syndicates and if he hadn’t done the business that would
have knocked a good few of them out. As Burns poetically put
it “The best laid schemes o’ mice an’ men gang aft a-gley”
    Don’t they just

Noticed a drop of 13,063 lists between the flat competition and the previous jumps. Also a drop of 2,000 lists on the free entry where you are only allowed 1 list per person. Wonder if it’s losing it’s appeal?

My free list is currently at position number 45.
