Just to confirm that we will be going ahead with this years TTTF (flat) when it
is open for entries on 22nd May. Competition rules etc will be added nearer to
    the time.

The usual £50 for the winner will remain, and I’m delighted to say that John Gooch
has put up half that sum already. Should there be 20 or more stables entered then a
£25 prize will go to the runner up. The £50 to the winner stays regardless. I see
they have raised the stable entries from £5 to £5.50 although they still allow one
    free entry.

Looking forward to the competition, it’s always been tight at the finish and I don’t
expect it to be any different this flat season with so many astute judges.

See you all in a couple of weeks :good:

Thanks for running prize league again, BigG. Hope to play.

Note each paid entry costs £5 in UK. It’s €5.50 if playing in Ireland.

for the lack of trying. Very best of luck :good:

Cheers Sam, only a few days until we can put a stable together. Monday 22nd
May is the official opening of the flat tournament. So many good horses to
pick from and tragically a good few, Creative Force, winner of the Jersey Stakes
and the Champion Sprint Stakes, who today joined those no longer with us.

That’s me just going online Nathan, I’ll head to the Tote, make a makeshift
10 and open a league. It will then give me a number and I’ll post it in my
next post. I’ll use the league name theracingforum, as it won’t accept TRF
    as it’s too short.

    Be back shortly :good:

    LEAGUE NAME theracingforum
    ENTRY PIN NO. 000003

Well we’re off and running with the flat this time. The competition opens for
stable entries today, 22nd May 2023 and all entries MUST be in by 6PM on 1st
June 2023. Selections can be submitted on the 1st date and changed as often
as you want prior to the big off.

I’ll keep the same format, £50 for the winner and if we get 20 or more stables
I’ll stick up £25 for the runner up. As I mentioned earlier John Gooch has donated
£25 which will be put towards half of the winner’s prize or if the figure of 20 is
reached then the £25 will be John’s prize to the runner up. Many thanks again for
    that John :good:

I’ve quickly formed a stable (onthebridle), which can be changed as many times as
you want up until the starting time of the competition.

Scoring will start after 2pm on 2nd June 2023 and the competition finishes
at 5pm on 21st October 2023. There will be a transfer window between 11am 16th
and 11am 23 August 2023 when 2 horses can be transferred out and 2 new horses
    transferred in

    Bonus races and Scoring

    Regular Points: Grade 1 win – 25 points, Grade 2 – 20 points, Grade 3 – 15 points,
Listed – 12 points, Any other race – 10 points.
Points will also be awarded from returns of a £1 each-way bet on the Tote in each race
    a horse runs in. Example: £1 win at 5.50 + £1 place at 1.20 = 6.70 points awarded

    Bonus Races:

    The Oaks (Epsom) – 3yo Fillies 1m4f
    The Derby (Epsom) – 3yo Colts 1m4f
    Irish Derby (Curragh) – 3yo Colts 1m4f
    Queen Anne Stakes (Ascot) – 4yo+ 1m
    The Commonwealth Cup (Ascot) – 3yo 6f
St James’ Palace Stakes (Ascot) – 3yo Colts 1m
Prince of Wales’ Stakes (Ascot) – 4yo+ 1m2f
    Ascot Gold Cup (Ascot) – 4yo+ 2m4f
    Coronation Stakes (Ascot) – 3yo Fillies 1m
    Platinum Jubilee Stakes (Ascot) – 4yo+ 6f
    Eclipse Stakes (Sandown) – 3yo+ 1m2f
    July Cup (Newmarket July) – 3yo+ 6f

    Sussex Stakes (Goodwood) – 3yo+ 1m
    International Stakes (York) – 3yo+ 1m2f
    Nunthorpe (York) – 2yo+ 5f
    Ebor (York, Heritage H’cap) – 4yo+ 1m6f
    Ayr Gold Cup (Ayr, Heritage H’cap) – 3yo+ 6f
    Irish Champion Stakes (Leopardstown) – 3yo+ 1m2f
    St Leger (Doncaster) – 3yo 1m6f
Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe (Paris Longchamp) – 3yo+ 1m4f
    Champion Stakes (Ascot) – 3yo+ 1m2f
Queen Elizabeth II Stakes (Ascot) – 3yo+ 1m
Bonus Race Points: Additional 25 points for a win, 12 points for finishing 2nd.

I’d have a look through the rules on the site and FAQ, although I guess most of
you are old hands at this now. If anyone needs any help or wants anything clarified
then please just ask me, it took me a while to get my head around this site, it is
    not the most punter friendly.

That’s all I can think of at this time, all wwelcome, but I MUST INSIST ALL STABLES
ARE REGISTERED BY REGISTERED MEMBERS OF THERACINGFORUM. Also, all entries which
appear in the league, must be in our league from the off. I can’t stop someone
slipping their stable in at some point during the competition, but they will NOT
be elligible for the prize money. I’d get a stable in early enough, don’t wait for
the last day’s rush. As I previously said, you can tinker with your stable as often
you want prior to the competition starting.

Best of luck to all :good:
