I’ve decided to have a go at the Tote’s Cheltenham Competition and I’ve
started a league which any registered TRF member is welcome to join. There’s
always a wheen of cash to be won if you win the overall competition. The winner
is gauranteed £10,000 but in all likelihood it will be more depending on how
much is paid into the tote. I’ll print some of the rules but I’d advise that
you have a scout through them on-site. It costs £5 per entry, but you have the
option of a free entry, although the prizes for that are obviously a bit lowerThe League Name is theracingforum
The access number is 000380The rules set out below, include the Bonus Races, where you score extra points
All welcome, and depending on numbers entering I might stick in a few quid for
the winner, amount yet to be decided. All welcome, but if there are enough numbers, and there is a prize or prizes,
you MUST be a member of TRF before the tapes go up.You can enter a stable and change it as many times as you want up until 11am on
Tuesday 15th March. I wouldn’t leave it too late if I were you as Tuesday morning
can be a bit hectic and slow the whole process down. Good luckI’ll be out for the afternoon but happy to answer any questions when I get back

If the winner’s 60% share of the net pool is less than £10,000, Tote will contribute the difference to total £10,000 in prize money to the winner. If the prize pool is such that the winner’s share exceeds £10,000, the winner’s prize will increase as per the table shown in 16) above.
18. Should more than one Stable score the same winning score, the Stables will be ranked in the order they were purchased (or in the case of free Stables, submitted) and the earliest submission will be awarded the prize. The selections within each Stable can be changed freely up until the competition closes for entries at 11am on Tuesday 15th March 2022. For the avoidance of doubt, each Stable will be timestamped when it is paid for (or in the case of free Stables, initially submitted), and not when any selections are subsequently made or Stables otherwise amended.
19. Winners will be paid directly into their tote accounts, where the balance can be withdrawn using the normal withdrawal process.
Smart Pick
20. The ‘Smart Pick’ auto-fill algorithm is intelligently designed to select the best horses to help maximise points for your Stable. The algorithm considers a range of data points to help calculate suggested picks for your Stable according to an historically optimal balance as used by previous high scoring Stables in previous Competitions. Whether you just want the algo to pick 1, 2, or up to all 10 horses, it will pick a balanced Stable of horses optimised to score the most points across the Festival.
21. The ‘Smart Pick’ feature is designed as a tool to aid in the selection of your stable, but is no guarantee of performance and we accept no liability in this respect. You are responsible for your own decision with regards the submission of any Stable entries. Whilst we have provided details on the potential benefits of the Smart Pick functionality we do not and will not provide any formal advice in relation to a Stable in the Paid Competition or Free-To-Play Competition (together the “Competitions”). You must rely on your own judgement in deciding to enter a Stable into the Competitions.
General Rules
22. You can monitor your entry online (either at http://www.tote.co.uk/ten-to-follow or http://www.tote.co.uk/ten-to-follow/racing-post ), where an updated leaderboard will display the highest scores in both the Free-to-Play Competition and the Paid Competition at any given time.
23. We reserve the right to modify the list of horses available for selection at any point during the competition.
24. These rules are issued by TDCO Limited, 6th floor, 6 Kean Street, London, WC2B 4AS, trading as “Tote”.
25. TDCO Limited reserves the right to amend or alter these terms and conditions.

Happy viewing, all.
March 18, 2022 at 02:05 #1588373Best of luck guys, I’ve been a bit remiss updating here as I’ve been up
to my arse in alligators running the Cheltenham Competition. Edentony
leads the way with a nice treble on Thursday, Bob Olinger, Allaho
and Flooring Porter.Money For Nothing and Unbearable are well over the 200 mark and I
think a good day tomorrow for just about anybody could have a shout.Best of luck guys n girls, there’s only 1 Gold Cup day and today
is itMarch 21, 2022 at 20:22 #1589249Again Sorry I’m late, I’ve got my son and his pregnant parter here
for a short stay and I’ve really not had the time, not to mention
the Cheltenham Competition itself. So here is the the final outcome
and it’s big congratulations to Edantony with a first class
score of 214.31. Very well done you had cracking stable, your top
scorers Flooring Porter and A Plus Tard. I mentioned perhaps a prize,
and although there was less than normal,12, so much else going on, but
I’ll happily stick up £25. If you get in touch with me Tony in a
PM and leave your account no. and sort code I’ll transfer you prize
directly.Numpty For Cheltenham in 2nd and Money For Nothing in 3rd weren’t
far away, 301.31 and 287.82. Very well done guys, two excellent
scoresThanks to all that threw their hat into the ring, It was a hard
week I thought, well wooden spoon for me, but it was a terrific
week nonetheless.Aintree next guys, and the start of the flat too on Saturday with
the Lincoln the big race. Best of luck to allMarch 25, 2022 at 11:34 #1589658I can’t find any trace of Edantony in PM or search. I’m assuming
it’s a name he just uses in the Tote competitions. if you could
reach me on PM Edantony and let me know your TRF name I can sort it
out. i’ll give it another 10 days which makes it a fortnight since
I declered the winner. I would have to think by then that Edantony
isnt a TRF member and the prize will go to 2nd placed Numpty for
Cheltenham, John Gooch, who certainly is.Last chance Tony
March 26, 2022 at 01:49 #1589780For info, owner of Edantony stable is ep1987, who also participated in ‘Tote Ten To Follow (Jumps) 2021/2022’ season-long competition; see post on 9 November 2021 in that game thread.
March 28, 2022 at 14:47 #1590090Sam you’re an absolute star. Thanks very much for finding that out. I’ve sent a PM
message to ep1987 and as soon as he gets his account info to me I’ll get the 25 quid
to him.Many thanks for that
GrahamMarch 28, 2022 at 22:33 #1590132Cheers Sam and BigG; I checked the thread last Monday, probably minutes before you posted. Between my free list and the two paid ones I actually managed 10 winners, just didn’t strike the perfect perm! Nice consolation prize and once again thanks for creating the league. Will put the winnings towards the flat TTF and if I snag a nice prize will get in touch to make a donation to a charity of your choice.
