    According to the Racing Post site a request was made to delay Navan races to avoid a clash:

    ‘While officials at Navan were happy to accommodate the BHA’s request, it was stewards at the course who blocked the move. It is understood that they saw no fit reason to delay their races.’

    Seems a bit ridiculous but If a few people have to miss an Irish race so that terrestrial viewers over here can see more racing then so be it. Nothing to lose sleep over.
