Ladies and gents, I’d like to announce that I’ll be retiring in March to the south sea island I will buy after La Bague Au Roi skates up at the Festival, probably in the JLT. I’m astounded she can still be backed for any race at 10/1. Chasing has transformed her and she’s the most exciting mare I’ve seen since Dawn Run.
November 30, 2018 at 17:31 #1387486Another we agree on Joe. Very keen on her today, though too short for me. She made a few quid last year, and that 10’s is fair. Very impressive today.
November 30, 2018 at 18:44 #1387504Joe – I wish you all the best with the bet. My only concern for you is I’m not sure Cheltenham is her track. I’ve been burnt twice on her at Cheltenham. She’s raced at Cheltenham twice and finished 7th both times. I haven’t seen today’s race yet but will take a look now. Good luck.
November 30, 2018 at 18:57 #1387506CNC, I didn’t take to her last year at all – never took my eye. But as soon as I watched her first Chase I thought she was a hugely changed animal for fences, the way she uses herself, her attitude, enthusiasm, jumping – a different horse. No aftertiming on today – I tweeted and blogged on this earlier today. I love her.
November 30, 2018 at 19:01 #1387508If you retire to a South Sea Island Joe can me and Mrsryamo come and visit for cheap lodgings? LOL
Good Luck with Le Bague Au Roi or the kings ring as I was reliably informed by the wise one today !! We both backed it today so she must be good carrying all that overweight of this households money AND Mrsraymo backed a favourite (yes it does happen very occasionally)
November 30, 2018 at 20:46 #1387536Raymo, I’ll reserve a large palm tree – super kingsize!
November 30, 2018 at 22:04 #1387551I agree about the course issue – I love her but wouldn’t blame them for bypassing Cheltenham and going straight to Aintree.
Maybe pick up the Reynoldstown en route.
November 30, 2018 at 22:04 #1387552Backed her today myself joe, im never put off by any price i couldnt see why the tizzard horse would reverse the form
Not sure if i can see her winning at the fes though, but i hope she does, the irish angle (although they obviously wont win every race) is far to strong atm for me and i wont be surprised for the time being if they mop up more and more every year at the fes
Salsaretta/coquin mans my two “any race bets” one more specific to the MNH and ill be joining you on that island if the former wins LOL
December 1, 2018 at 02:18 #1387601Joe/VTC La Bag du Roi 14/1 to win any race at william Hill
December 1, 2018 at 13:29 #1387698Thanks, silent – I’ll go in again.
December 3, 2018 at 01:49 #1387900Surely she has two options – JLT or RSA?
RSA will be full of top class horses – Santini, Next Destination, Delta Work and Cracking Smart to name a few. She won’t beat that lot imo.
JLT looks far easier. 16s Betvictor. Each way. Much better bet than a win on any race imo
December 23, 2018 at 22:33 #1390121Time is running out folks. I expect her to win the Kauto Star and all the 12s will be gone.
December 24, 2018 at 12:41 #1390145You think she beats Santini?
Not for me.
