A fatality at Aintree having suffered an injury to his hindleg when being hampered resulting in a fall during the Novices’ Chase.
RIP Timesremembered, just 6 years old.
October 25, 2014 at 18:08 #493448Didn`t seem to be that badly injured at all. Very sad for connections and let`s hope that her deceased horses finally get a mention on her website. It would be the logical thing to do in my opinion, since it is only the horses that keep the operation going all the time.
Rest in Peace Timesremembered!October 25, 2014 at 18:26 #493449Didn’t seem badly injured RubyLight? Looked have broken a hindleg very badly to me and apparently ran up the home straight before being caught. Very sad and more bad news for Lavelle. As you say Ruby, wonder if this one gets a mention on the stable’s website. Such a shame.
October 25, 2014 at 18:29 #493451I saw the injury, but the horse still moved at full speed and ran out at the next fence. So I thought, it could be okay. However as soon as the screens were mentioned the ending became obvious. Very sad for the horse.
October 25, 2014 at 21:33 #493481This is further sadness for the owner/trainer/jockey responsible for The Last Night.
October 26, 2014 at 09:11 #493501The Last Night’s name details were just removed from the website. I wouldn’t know if this trainer cares about her horses or not, but it comes across as very cold.
RIP Timesremembered.
November 2, 2014 at 02:25 #494242It gets worse for Lavelle, Coleman and Syder as
Le Bec
was very seriously injured after making countless errors in the United House Gold Cup.
The word is that he’ll survive, but will never race again.

It might be bad taste to say something like this, but maybe Emma Lavelle should take a look at her schooling regime before sending out any more of her chasers.
November 2, 2014 at 07:52 #494248That’s very sad to hear. it was too awful to watch him yesterday.
The trainer has now acknowledged the two deaths on her website although only Timesremembered by name.
November 2, 2014 at 10:52 #494282I was present at Chepstow when he won the Persian War at a very generous 9/1. I was a guest at the track that day, and the two horses I took away from the card were Sire De Grugy and this handsome chap.
Prior to the race, I was in the paddock and kept remarking about what a chasing prospect he was for the future. So much so that someone suggested I take him home with me!
A lovely horse and the game has lost a top prospect.
Rest In Peace, handsome.
November 2, 2014 at 17:09 #494332This is meant to be a memorial for Timesremembered who was lost in very unlucky circumstances. Would it not be better to discuss the perceived jumping issues of horses from the stable separately.
November 2, 2014 at 17:19 #494334Well the horse was mentioned on the trainers website. The statement made about him sounded rather cold and professional. No mention about The Last Night at all. Wow, this leaves me a bit surprised again.
