Such a pity Timeform radio, as we know it, has closed after seven years. Just the bare commentaries now. #NotHappy
April 19, 2015 at 09:27 #896787It is sad they have stopped broadcasting.
I enjoyed the banter and the informative discussions.

Longer than that, even – February 2007 to April 2015, including its original branding as Betfair Radio. It was a privilege to be involved with it, in however small a way, from start to finish.
I’m sure one day soon when time permits I’ll ruminate more on its sudden cessation, probably on my blog. On the one hand it’ll seem churlish to mourn the passing of something that was originally intended to be an umpteen-week trial yet ran on for nearly eight years longer than that. On the other hand, however, any suggestions of the station’s non-viability at the time of its closure sit completely at odds with what those of us working for it maintained to be the case (and still do).
