Timeform Racehorse Annual – query

I am slowly acquiring old editions of the Timeform Racehorses Annual.

Prior to the early 1980’s the annuals appear to have only contained full results for the European Pattern races. Does anybody know if there are other annual flat raceing publications which contained the full results of the UK pattern races.

I have something called ‘The Sporting Life’s Flat Results in Full’ from 1983 but not sure whether it was publsihed prior to that. It should certainly contain what you are looking for if it was published earlier.

You can also try Raceform Note-Books which give full results, although I’d guess they’re a fairly precious commodity.

Has any one tried to get a Timeform Annual from an inter-library loan? I’ve just put in a request for a 1950s one at my local library, the librarian doesn’t hold out much hope.
