Abysmal runs by my selections so far this week:(

2:35 Kelso – 16 runners but only a few have a realistic chance. The Ring has been consistent this season and is a C/D winner. Backed e/way at 9/2.

3:40 Kelso – Pee Jay’s Dream found two and a half miles in the haydock mud too much last time out and will like the drop in trip & better ground here. Looks reasonably hcapped on the performance of his win at Newcastle. Backed e/way at 7/1.

5:00 Chepstow – What A Scientist is lightly raced and open to improvement. Has Tony McCoy riding him for the first time. Backed e/way at 7/1.

I hope nobody had my Placepot selections! It’s my worst showing of the year so far – up to race 4 at Kelso and I’m yet to have any of my selections placed – the J Howard Johnson odds-on flop in the first race is the stuff of bookies’ dreams. It’ll be close to a grand pay-out per pound return I reckon this afternoon.

UPDATE: Managed to get at least one up – Pee Jay’s Dream – 5/1 winner. My fourth leg was the Nicky Richards horse put down though! :o
