Well done to Scotland’s other green team after wrapping up a remarkable third title in a row and also, following their qualification to the Champions League knock-out stage for the second year in a row, cementing their position as Scotland’s premier team at the moment.

Only until the Hibs get into top gear though.

GREAT COME BACK 6 points behind and with rangers having 2 games in hand at start of April credit to Gordan strachan for not letting them believe the title had gone and once again showed there great fighting spirit…

and what a nice touch to wear the KING TOMMY t-shirts after the game

i was flicking between both games and have to say for an hour i was pulling my hair out as it looked both games were going to finish 0-0 and the tension was getting to much but fair play to Aberdean & Dundee as both were 100% on trying to stop both teams win, Nacho Novo did a Drogba and let his Team down even though game was over but he now misses the cup final on Sat!

    CONGRAGULATIONS ONCE AGAIN Y.N.W.A

Well done to Celtic, never gave up in what was a great title race. it looked like Rangers did’nt have enough eggs and too many baskets opposed to Celtic’s eggs going into their one basket for the last few months of the season at least.

A few weeks ago, we were seven points behind Rangers and even the most optimistic Celtic fan would tell that the prospect of the SPL title heading once more to the east end of Glasgow was nigh impossible.

Defeat away to ICT 3-2, when leading 2-0, throwing away a two goal lead at Easter Road to Hibs, drawing at home against St. Mirren, losing at 1-0 at Ibrox and then at home to Motherwell, probably indicated to everyone that this was not going to be Celtic’s year.

However, football is a funny old game, to coin a phrase, and has a habit of making us all look fools.

Gordon Strachan, with the help of Neil Lennon (brought in to galvanise a weary looking Celtic squad ) helped to rally the troops and knew that two victoris against Rangers at home would give Celtic a fighting (if outside) chance of winning the title.

Celtic did win those matches, and have won everyone since, whilst Rangers have dropped points left, right and centre.

Then to d-day, thursday 22nd May.

All the pundits concentrated on how many goals Rangers would rack up at Pittodrie, which was quite odd, considering that they had only managed to beat Aberdeen there once in the last three seasons – whereas Celtic’s record against Dundee Utd at Tannadice read 12 wins out of 13 in their previous visits.

Anyhow, we noe know how it turned out. Celtic are champions, against all odds, and have made not only the watching Rod Stewart very proud, but thousands upon thousands of supporters throughout the world. Yes, it does indeed mean a great deal to us.

Well done bhoys and well done Gordon Strachan.

    God bless Tommy Burns. 8)
