    Not a bad idea to enter one in next year’s Clarence Chase. 3rd place guarantees at least 19k which is a lot more than you would get from running on your own gallops.

    It should be a bit more because I think all horses that complete equally share 4th, 5th and 6th Place prize money.

    Now this is going to be fun. Instead of three horses racing for 175k, you’ll have more entries and just 90k in prize-money. But, it will be a good Festival trial since it will be run at Cheltenham.

    3 runners where place money goes to 6. To the best of my knowledge they do not share 4 – 6 prize money and say only one finisher then only 1st prize is awarded
