An amendment to the Irish bet
IRELAND to score 2+ tries in each half
at 5/4
A good bet in my humble opinion.
The margins are tight on the handicap line and an in song Ireland team would score freely but this may be tighter than expected so scoring twice in each half is not impossible. But I’ve left margin of victory alone.. given the wet conditions.December 1, 2024 at 13:53 #1714523Ireland didn’t manage two tries in each half and that bet was out by half time.Arsenal were quick out of the stalls hitting four before West Ham got interested and easily landing a winner.
LIVERPOOL Vs MANCHESTER CITY
1600 Sunday
Liverpool to win @ evens under the
“two up” rule”.
Liverpool don’t normally relinquish a two goal lead but in case they do heres a cracker of a bet. Under the two up rule bookmakers have priced Liverpool at evens when they are 21/20 to simply win.
Manchesters form leaves much to be desired and the reds might be the last team they’d want to face in their current form.December 1, 2024 at 17:45 #1714555It took Liverpool a long while to find the second goal but the game has five minutes plus injury time still to run.
The bet has paid out already.December 21, 2024 at 20:54 #1716030You are as good as your last bet no more no less.
There is a fight going on tonight and it’s hard to see this one going all the way. The headline bill on the cards is
Usyk Vs Tyson.December 21, 2024 at 22:45 #1716039TYSON FURY TO BE KNOCKED DIWN
@ 6/4 Sky Bet
The undercard has to go to clockwork for the main event to kick off as scheduled at 11 o’clock and it won’t be as bad as American Schedules where fights run hours late with the main event coinciding with sunrise in Blighty.
Usyk won on points last time and maintained his unbeaten record Fury is a showman and has come up with the goods time and time again. It’s an unpredictable event dependent on the boxer’s commitment to the cause but on all known form the champion can maintain his unbeaten record therefore a tough fight with the odd knockdown is the call without committing to either man overall.December 21, 2024 at 23:47 #1716047The fight must have been two rounds old when I penned the prediction and fury despite copping sone knocks looked stable on his feet.
Usyks dominance of the heavyweight division continues but the best he should have got out of this fight would have been a narrow points win or the nod on a split decision.
The judges identical scorecards of 116/112 smacks of collusion and was a poor reward for Fury’s role in this fight. His recovery ability in the late rounds was excellent and his use of superior reach and height and his Jabs
almost elevated him above the champion at times. I doubt there many options than for a return contest probably in the summer and fury if fit could improve again.February 1, 2025 at 15:19 #1719437Saturday 1st February
Live in play
IPSWICH TOWN VsSOUTHAMPTON
Town to win 10/11The tractors 🚜 face a must win situation here a draw is of little use to either side and this takes on the form of the season’s first real six pointer…
There is only fourth place from bottom up for grabs between these two sides and Ipswich desperately need to hammer home their fortress Portman Road reputation of old where Manchester United and Even Barcelona have been turned over by the only side in the premiership still unbeaten at home in europe.
With Man City six nil winners the last game Ipswich’s defence needs a real boost and the hopes for marque defender from a top six club never materialised in the transfer window.February 1, 2025 at 15:32 #1719444Ipswich 0 Saints 1
A shaky start and Ipswich are a goal down after 21 minutes.
This is going to be a bumpy ride and for the losing side a very bleak looking run in. Hope springs eternal.February 6, 2025 at 20:08 #1719893I’m seeing quotes of France -5 at Twickenham on Saturday. Have the books lost their minds? They’ll wipe the floor with us.
I didn’t see much last weekend due to other commitments but I’d be staggered if we keep it inside a single score even though it’s at home.
