Ok – You have to put up five names – and five only – horses you think will win next time out following their Royal Ascot runs. I know it’s sort of impossible given you don’t know what they will be up against but that’s part of the game – guessing where they might go next and how they’ll be suited and if they might be over/under bet.
Whoever has best level stakes profit at SP wins.Only their next run counts.
Five horses, no caveats (like ‘if ground is good’ or ‘if raised in trip’ or stuff like that). You can ut up an explanation/reasoning for each but once they are up you are on regardless.
Only runs before or during Saturday October 2nd count and I’ll give the winner a £20 free bet on the Arc De Triomphe as a prize.
First five home in the Albany Stakes – Porta Fortuna, Matrika, Soprano, Persian Dreamer and Pretty Crystal as I think that was a quality renewal of an underrated contest the last three subsequent winners of the 1,000 Guineas all got beaten in.
They may clash, but, if any of them reappear in different races the same day I’d stick them in related-contingency form-line multiples with each other as well.
Getting 20 quid (even as a free bet) off David Cormack would feel like getting 20 grand off anyone else, so I’m well up for this.
