    An injured horse could get a walkover and maybe even a dead one ;-)
    Didn’t see much wrong with having the horse at the course and ridden past the winning post.

    If the walkover is known about at declaration stage, then sparing the horse an unnecessary journey to the course seems a good reason for the change to me.

    I think it would be a difficult scenario to successfully get up to skulduggery in.
