But what we all need to think about Ricky is (and I don’t mean to single you out here):

Is our own personal "fun" reducing or sometimes eliminating the fun of others?

No it is not meant to be "heavy" at all, sorry if you thought it so. As said, am not singling you out Ricky, but we all need to consider others in our "fun" and I include myself in that. I do believe some have gone over the top in critising your good self on these pages (for no doubt journalistic/poetic license).

But your spat with Mr P has gone on for many pages and many threads and now that it’s finished you seem intent on another fight, please don’t let Gamble goad you in to one.

Of course whether you do or not is entirely up to you and I admire anyone who stands up for what they believe in. Disagreements can of course be interesting for

    some

of us. However, (particularly when they go on too long) can put off

    other

    TRFers

    altogether

. As indeed I know with my own spat with Billion and MrE. Whoever is in the right or wrong gets blurred after a while anyway, especially when warring parties throw insults without reasoning.

my own spat with Billion and MrE.

    Where’s that Ginger?

It’s a belly-laugh a minute at present here on this

small, hollow planet, far, far away

and I’m keen to induce yet more hernias

As for the odds offered by Nathaniel on those with a gossamer epidermis who take their bat, balls and box home into self-imposed exile, if past form is a reliable guide to future form then the true odds of them returning at some point under one guise or another is around 1/666

Your vast stock of Pork Scratchings and Thatchers Gold is in imminent danger of being emptied Nat

Here we have the latest Drone but there is more in the system section dotted about the place. A lot of the funny words were deleted.

At 109 years old, billion’s odds are getting bigger by the second.

I don’t think Billion saw it that way Drone.
He’s not used to my lengthy maths lessons, like the rest of TRF is.

    Gingerliteral,

May I invite you – and anyone else who’s game – to take the Autism-Spectrum Quotient test

    http://archive.wired.com/wired/archive/9.12/aqtest.html

    This asteroid of ours,

out here on the perimeter where there are no stars

, is populated by ladies and gentlemen you don’t meet everyday, thank goodness: dedicated turfistes and serial horse-players whose character, outlook and psychological make-up tends to deviate from the ‘mean’ in my wholly amateur opinion

I’ve taken the test several times at intervals long enough to ‘forget’ my previous answers and my average score is 28 i.e significantly above the mean of 16: a positive and heartening result

There are of course a myriad psychological tests of one sort or another littering the net and all should be taken with a healthy pinch of salt; but with that caveat of interest nevertheless

    Drone – high-functioning Aspergic :)

The Sheep is busy grazing , he may not return for a while …the exit of Pilsen seems to have darkened his mood

Talk to yourselves for a bit

Done the test twice Drone, once 24, once 28.

As Nathan says, answers depend on what mood I’m in.

Think I am just sad.

I have been away on a trip
and omitted to pack any waterproofs
    or even a jacket !

I have not stopped posting because
Mr Pilsen has been relocated to
    the playground for the undead
and a lot of assumptions are
    made in this virtual cesspool
    that are plainly wrong.

    My list has grown
    so more unmagnificents
and Nathan has hit a few
    coconut shies.
I will publish my list later
out of respect to the health
of this house which is speeding
    towards terminal decline.

My absence is due to my self
improvement and I hope to return
a far better and more chastened individual

    Whinge hits a few buttons
and I continue to like his mind.
There is a healthy balance to be struck
between good and evil – to make
for an interesting and stimulating house
Some know it and others have little clue.
Mr E and Razeen knew it but Mr Wilson did not.
    All lost at sea nonetheless

Mr Pilsen will be playing in that
same undead area for many months and
possibly years to come – using his eyes
but not his fingers for deciphering.
It is very wet in there !

    An interesting player he was
almost up there in the Razeen
    class. Some may have preferred
    him. His talents are wasted
and we lost the brilliant punk for
    a half hour’s lyrics.

Pimms Pilsen is, I think, certainly no more than undead and is currently undergoing purification in Purgatory

He’s been shown the Styx but has not been thrown in; had he been, then his avatar would now be the familiar grey ghost of those too shy to tattoo their profile and his username replaced for all eternity with Hadean anonymity

    Pinza

    is now

    Ian Davies

Several on Nathan’s dirty two-dozen are

    Mr Pilsen

    is still

    Mr Pilsen

Was he pushed or did he jump?

Only the Archangel Cormack knows for sure :?

Life for we filter-feeders in the sludge of this cesspool still bangs Gamble; why do you believe the fishes in the cleared waters above are whimpering?
