epsom and mussle made a nice recovery with the single bets.masterofceromonies and efistorm at mussle(22 points) and the first three races at epsom returned 15 points

the first three races at both mussle and epsom had one horse that lost out of 6 horses each track and only one race each were none won…

i did not bet friday or saturday with this system as lingfield was on and is the best performing track so i did the following

being lingfield all i had to do was write down the top two speedsters and bet e/w on them both

regale royal and cheshire rose was 45/1 and 38/1 on betfair they came 1st and 3rd (that would of been 1710/1 on a forecast if it won)

agony and extasy was 18/1 and was second rated and won
whosit was second rated and won
secret hero and hi shinko 1st and 2nd(forecast)
picidilly filly was top rated and won (110 points profit on the day)

hamilton produced 4 winners–5 placed out of 12 horses aswell
(18 points)

the last race was the only race of the day were niether horses won or placed(lingfield)

lingfield produced 110 points profit using this simple method

please note i write down the top two as the second fastest has the best strike rates on aw and the first on turfs

the speed raters on there own are very profitable but speed is only part of the selection process……..pace and handicapping play a big role as well

i hope i have pointed you in the right direction anyway

i have finished with my speed rating system

now i am able to comply my own figures i have no time to keep this up

most of you were correct in the fact that it does not make money backing the horses, but as a laying system it has produced a 80% strike rate when laying the top two speedsters

some tracks like musslebo have an excellent strike rate

there are four pages

sheet 1—-all tracks non aw both 1st and second rated backed and laid the blue colour means a 100% strike rate laying

sheet 2—aw only both 1st and second backed and laid
the blue colour means a 100% strike rate laying

sheet 3—-all tracks non aw favourites

sheet 4—-aw only favourites

the favs are coulour coded
red= only one fav won
green =more than half the favs won
yellow=all favs won or placed (accumi or placepot)
purple =no favs won
white=more than 1 but less than half won

i dont lay horses so it is not worth much to me but i hope someone may find a use for it
