I for one would like to see all the regular posters on this forum get together to present a Cheltenham Festival Preview via a google hangout which could go out live on youtube and would then be available after the show to watch as a video on youtube. These are very easy to do, cost nothing to make other than your time in talking. To take part all you need is a google mail account which can be set up in a few minutes.
To go through all the races would take around three hours, this could go out in one video or a series of three.
Would anybody else like this to happen and would you like to be a contributor? If this went ahead I think it would become a regular feature of this forum and would cover more of the racing aside from Cheltenham.Good idea. I’d happily contribute (but only on the Graded races: I take little interest in the handicaps) and would be willing to help with editing.
But attention spans are so short these days, I’d suggest posting race by race videos on YouTube
I could talk about how I snaffled 500/1 about Petit Mouchoir winning the Champion hurdle,Nath could tell a few jokes,Ginge could discuss the tables of chances and tell us why he’s backed every horse in the Coral cup,we could all just stare at Jacs beauty.Joe can explain how he finds wonder horses and then deserts them.Darren would have to advertise Irn Bru.Bob VTC can explain how he gets 25hrs out of a 24hr day.’Joni Articulate’ will melt us with his beautiful tone and hopefully learn how not to throw it all away.Tommy can do the Irish angle.Dave can be the stereo MC and work out how its all gonna work and of course Zark can talk a load of bollox…A million views before March guaranteed with this lot…We could end up on TV,lets do it.
