Ian , take off those rose tinted glasses ….its a bloody building site , with low grade racing ,,together with low grade prize money at least for the flat cards ….I agree the jumping cards are superb

But Ricky, I usually win there – that’s the clincher!

PS: Low grade Flat racing and prize money? They managed to attract….err….FRANKEL to the Lockinge two years back, and the Hungerford, the Geoffrey Freer and the Greenham (won by KINGMAN this year with some colt who went on to win the 2,0000 GUINEAS second) aren’t such bad races.

get over it …just do a simple bit of investigating , compare ..the prize money for Newbury for its big races , including handicaps…from 1995 to 2002/3

then compare the last 10 yrs ….prepare to be shocked
