It seems that Mike Cattermole has discovered a previously unknown feature of the East Lothian track!

The only hill sited anywhere near Musselburgh racecourse was on the golf course in the middle, the 2-tier green on the 2nd hole after Mrs Formans !

I’m sorry Mike Cattermole may look good on tv but his commentaries are very poor.

Depends how picky you want to be.

I was at Musselburgh today and was stood for a few races at the last hurdle and although hill would be pushing it a bit, it isn’t completely flat.

OK, it’s linksland, so it rolls a little, but hill? No!

There is usually a burger van about the furlong pole, you sure he didn’t say ‘and they’re approaching the GRILL’?
