According to the Jumping For Fun site. this former flat racer dropped dead in the car park at Trecoed point to point yesterday having finished third in the members.
He had made a good career for himself in the Welsh point to points.

Post
site incorrectly quantifies his three Irish point runs as Flat ones), but he was entered at Trecoed and finished third in the Members.
If it’s him, then that’s really really sad. He’d enjoyed his most successful year ever in points this season, winning five to double his career tally to ten. I was at Lower Machen to see the fifth of those just a fortnight ago – it’s gutting that that will stand as his last victory now.
The partnership with teenager Nathan Deakin seemed to have lit him up, and generally speaking enthusiastic riders, rather than those of years’ standing, had brought out the best in him in recent years. Some of you may remember him winning a Hereford hunter chase just over a year ago under Kyle Yates.
Clearly his entry in the Mens Open at the season’s final meeting at Umberleigh this weekend is rendered tragically null and void now, and I await the sad news of it being scratched from the entry list in the near future.
My condolences to owner Mrs Shervington, trainer Wyn Morris, rider Deakin and all concerned.

(graysonscolumn)Jeremy it was the horse you referred and can confirm his sad demise. sorry about the mistake. Hope you enjoyed Umberleigh and look forward to linking up at a point or two next season. I might even pinch a lift to Ffos Llas some time if you are ever going.
