I wish their now new people with a new club name(whatever they will be called) would just march away with a bit more dignity, instead of worming about to watch their own execution in the hope that the hangman forgets to sharpen the gulloteine that very morning. The new club who will use Ibrox stadium and will no doubt retain supporters from the no longer existant ‘Rangers Football Club’ should consider themselves lucky if they indeed get into the third division. The old Rangers is like a injured crow, that all the other crows hate, sadly trying to fly away even though it can’t. Someone should just put them out of their misery and hit them with a brick. I think Scottish football will be better without them quite frankly. You will now see Celtic playing more Scottish players, and there will be more of a spotlight on other derbies such as the Dundee Utd vs Dundee and Hearts vs Hibs matches. Second place would now be up for grabs, and the ‘diddy’ clubs could now play in the knowledge that they will get the Scottish Cup european spot on merit aswell as euro entry for third place. I’m failing to see much of a downside to it all.

Erm…why we anyone aplogise when the inquiry found old Rangers guilty of breaking the rules, and having a fine imposed on them as a result. The fact that the fine was against the old club ond not the new club just goes to prove our point. 8) :D

Apologise for what ? As Lone Wolf rightly said : THE rangers were found guilty and fined £250,000 accordingly. The three man panel; which incidentally Charles Green had previously ridiculed as " not fit for purpose " conspired to get his newco off the hook by not stripping some of their ill gained titles. Suddenly Mr. Green lauds the panel for displaying common sense for not punishing his newco. Hey, but wait a minute – it was the oldco that won the titles. I don’t get it. :? Oh, that’s right … Charles Green steps into both oldco and newco shoes as he sees fit. Having your cake and eating it, is the phrase, I believe.

No, Lord Nimmo & Co. were simply ensuring that most of the buildings and property in Glasgow ( unlike Manchester in 2008 ) remained intact by opting for the let them off with a fine option.

THE rangers newco have risen from a pile of soggy ashes and the young players and those that Neil Murray ( chief scout – sacked the other day ! ) identified for McCoist ( all duds ! ) managed to win the Scottish pub league on a budget 50 times bigger than the rest of the part-time teams in the fourth tier put together. Woweee !

Now Doncaster, Regan and Longmuir ( especially ) are once again attempting some sort of league reconstruction in order to fast-track Charlie Green’s newco misfits into an SPL2.

    The plot thickens.

I didn’t expect any apologies from the liars and the gullible in here, I was just laying some bait of which was taken and swallowed in the way I expected it to be :D

How can anyone apologise if they don’t even understand what went on in the first place? :)

Rangers have been found innocent (that’s NOT guilty) on all accounts, they were fined because of administration errors regarding the EBT’s , it was the SPL that didn’t even understand their own rules and thus was said by Lord Nimmo, the SPL corruption team knew about Rangers’ EBT’s for years but didn’t do anything before.

Celtic also used EBT’s for Juninho (remember him?) but that was swept under the carpet like the paedophile scam that riled the club years ago (hence the Big Jock Knew chants you hear to this day).

The title of this thread says "the demise of Rangers football club (who no longer exist) does that not look very stupid? (that was my main point for the apology)

Rangers are getting the biggest crowds in Scottish football and I think the 5th biggest in Britain, not bad for a club that doesn’t exist :? I believe once the ridiculous transfer embargo that hangs over them gets lifted they will be back at the top in their own time, no fast tracks needed, Rangers will do this their own way, although if the rise back to the top is not reached sooner rather than later Scottish football will be dead forever.

Amongst all the rubbish that’s been posted about Scotlands finest club the truth of the matter is that Regan and Doncaster have ruined the Scottish game because of their bigotry and hatred of Rangers – nothing more!

All I ask is that you part time celtic supporters on here take off the green tinted specs and at least see what is going on, look at the bigger picture.

The bottom line is they tried to kill an institution that is Rangers and it didn’t work, Rangers are very much alive albeit a bit weaker on the playing side of things at this moment in time, any other team in Scotland (and I include Celtic in that) would have gone bust never to be seen again if what happened to Rangers happened to them.

Porky, you have just illustrated why your previous clubs ( the old and new ) are despised throughout Scotland.

Rangers FC ( which practiced a sectarian policy for over 100 years ) was officially liquidated. An embarrassment of the highest order.

A tribute act bearing the name THE rangers football club, was cobbled together from the ashes as those who didn’t do walking away did just that !

As for attendances: a price comparison of SPL ticket prices and those of the lowest tier in Scottish senior football may give a better insight. Yes, Celtic’s attendances are down, but if you read the latest Police figures, both clubs have been doctoring their actual match day attendances – by simply counting season ticket holders, whether they attended said match or not. To see Celtic play at home is on average £27-28, and much more for away fixtures. To see THE rangers, £16 or thereabouts, and much less for children – many whom have been given free tickets by Green to boost the numbers. The Govan Stand looks like a creche during match days, I am reliably informed.

To compound the sad state of affairs at Ibrox, Ally ( the press’s darling boy ) McCoist lays claim to a 55th league title ( yes, chuckle ye hard ) – only to be reprimanded by Charlie Green ( his boss ) and told to behave : " this one doesn’t count, Alistair " Of course it doesn’t. Wee Ally, being the cheeky wee chappy he likes everyone to think he is, again trying to pull a fast one.

As for the EBTs, no tax payments etc – guilty as charged m’lud, and may they stagnate in the lower reaches of Scottish football henceforth and forever more.

Rangers are still the same Rangers with all their history intact

The only thing that has changed is the company name, everything was transferred over to the new company name which is still the same Rangers, the press and celtic fans are the ones that don’t grasp this because it hurts them that Rangers are still here.

The SPL and HMRC have got to chase the old company name for any debts owed, this ofcourse cannot happen as that old company went into administration

Oh and by the way the old company have still not actually been liquidated as of yet :?

Rangers have always been known as "The" Rangers, yet those that don’t know the history think they are starting something new by calling Rangers "The Rangers".

you really need to wake up and get your facts right.

I know it must hurt every Rangers hater that Rangers are still alive and kicking especially when they tried to kill them off and it didn’t work.

Rangers – the most decorated club in world football is a well known fact, see record books for details.

    So I will repeat –

Rangers are nowhere near being non existent

. therefor I’m correct when I say this thread is silly and stinks of bitterness and hatred towards Scotland’s finest club.

Nobody cares Porky. The club were liquidated, they were re-formed as a new club. They can’t play in Europe because they don’t have license which all new clubs need to apply for. The notion that it’s the same club but run by a different company is just peddled by the media with a vested interest in fast tracking the Rangers back as quickly as possible. Rangers fans have went on a vicious verbal crusade, because as all fundamentalists they have an over inflated sense of importance to the world. People care more about their own team, and i would also imagine that very few people outside of Scotland give a damn. Rangers make up false attendance figures to add to the myth that they are still the biggest club on this planet or any other that may exist. The fact is, they are a newly formed third division club, who have cash flow problems. Their CEO is begining to sack people at the club as he did before he left Shefield United, whilst the money made from the share float is ‘ there somewhere’. If playing against teams like – Jeez oh i’m struggling to name who they play, let’s say Arbroath – if that doesn’t give you a sense of reality, whilst you sign poor players and play poor football in Scotlands bottom tier, then nothing will. If anyone is interested they can google for facts, but i doubt anyone will, as even as a Celtic fan i have very little interest in them either. Conversation over on my part.

I will leave you with a quote from rangers CEO, shareholder and bonus king, Charles Green :-

"For someone who’s a Rangers fan, what he is suggesting is that, rather than get a CVA through that retains all of the history and tradition, that we should vote against it and go down the newco route, why would a true fan suggest that ?"

New Rangers >>>>> Charles Green >>>> Share prices >>>>>> popcorn

Keep trying to humour yourself wolfie, if you say it enough times it might stick

the fact is that YOU are hurting and you DO care about what happens to Rangers as you wouldn’t have started this thread in the first place, the biggest majority of Celtic fans bother more about what happens to Rangers than they do of their own team – FACT!

That is why celtic season tickets are down and they only get around an average of 25,000 at home games.

You started this thread in celebration of the "demise" (as you called it) of Rangers and failed to see it through when you knew it wasn’t all going the way you would have liked  .

why don’t you report on what your own team is doing other than spread lies about Rangers? Now that tells me and everyone who reads this that Rangers are more to your concern than Celtic :D

You cannot wriggle out of it Wolfie, it’s all here in black & white!

Lone Wolf – deluded, bitter and hurting!

    FACT!
