I’m not quite familiar with the meaning of the term “autres de que pur sang”.
The 5th race at Auteuil today has a horse called Grandioso running in it. His sire Samum is a German Derby winner, his dam Quaresca has Green Dancer on her sire’s side and Brigadier Gerard (4 generations ago) on her dam’s side.
Can anyone explain why Grandioso in a non-thoroughbred? I guess it’s easier than I might think…..
Gino Dino running in the same race is by Doctor Dino, whose sire is Muhtathir. his dam Taiji is a daughter of Antartique whose sire is Sadlers Wells. Why is that pedigree by definition “autres de que pur sang”?

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/AQPS
There are other guides to what constitutes AQPS but don’t know how good your French is.
