I haven’t seen Sam Turner on RUK lately, has he stopped doing gigs for them or is he more of a jumps fan?

Ludlow was one of his main gigs so that explains the absence somewhat, though he also often did Flat meetings at Nottingham so I don’t know where he’s disappeared to.

Yep, Sam Turner is one of the better TV pundits, and has a pleasant voice too

Is he not Robin Goodfellow on the Daily Mail these days? Could have my wires crossed of course but thought he got that job. Agree that’s he’s very good.
On the same note, Mark Howard is also excellent and always talks with authority when he’s on RUK.

Yep, at the time of writing this Sam Turner and Robin Goodfellow are one and the same. A fine tipster and an excellent, funny bloke to spend some time on the racecourse with as well. Watching him and Stewart Machin try to incorporate a plug for Tanners’ Wines into every link one Ludlow meeting last winter, in the desperate hope of being rewarded with a crate of it, raised more than a few giggles.
