    Barney Curley race 3.05 Bellewstown
Would be great if Jamie Spencer could go in here on Tipperary Moon
    Trueba
Is ridden by Frankie and looks to have a good chance here for johnny Murtagh.
Been kept off the distance in runs going up to nine furlongs. Won maiden at the trip and looks wells treated here.
    London Palladium
Has a good chance here too and runs off 70 down from a winning mark of 79 in England.
Good luck to all the jockeys here….

It would be no suprise to see
Jamie Spencer go well today on fozzy Stack’s
HERMANA ESTRELLA at the Curragh today in the 1000 guineas.

This horse has been laid out specifically for the one race with supplement options going forward for other races.

Pinpointing Jamie Spenser successful rides is a skill.( A skill that I don’t possess)
You could not back him regularly and gain a profit. (I did put up Bless him a winner at Newmarket a few weeks back and that runner went close again on Saturday a ride which again drew criticism in some quarters).
Goodwood is a course suited to his style of riding, although in winning previously on Marbaan he employed forceful front running tactics.
Next time out under S.Kelly at Newmarket he beat we could be heroes and we could be heroes franked that run with a quality second place at Salisbury.
His sole ride today comes in the 2.25 and his horse Marbaan is drawn in stall 9.
There is also a formline behind Dark Thirty from his first run which goes into the Chesham which suggests that Dark Thirty could progress today from stall 1. All form after that race suggests the draw played a hugely significant part in the outcome and the only horse who can bring that form back to the front is the winner Holloway Boy.

Haven’t done too badly with this section and it has been rather selective over a long period.

Jamie goes to Ireland for the Churchill stakes and his mount papillo has a squeak here with a good run against Greenland and a five pound pull.
Trouble is Jamie’s record in Ireland is very poor (recently) and while the law of averages has to come good for him soon, taking one mount on unfamiliar tracks up against home jockeys means poor returns ensue. Jamie has a great opportunity to redress the balance but as Gingertipster would say there is very little value especially if the hold up tactics are employed in a race which might be over by the time his cards are played tonight.

Pearling path runs again and only one horse (Holloway Boy) has given the Chesham any creedance of form in race where all the placed horses were there due to pure physics. Note all the fancied horses were in stalls under stall 10 and did not figure and are yet to run again.

The one I really like is the highly progressive HELLSING for Ger Lyons and Colin Keane. Won his maiden well and ran a cracker (kraka) last time in a higher grade.
This sets him up nicely for a crack at a race the yard have won three times since 2014.

    Credit where credit is due.
Jamie rode a blinder on his only ride and along with la dolce Vita gave the winner Hellsing plenty to do.
They went off a crazy pace and while settled out the back Colin Keane had to get to work around the turn just to keep in touch.
Did it well in the end and a good winner for the thread which only gets an airing once in a blue moon for a decent return. Previous selection. winner 14/1. Today 9/4.

Newcomer to Newmarket from Ger Lyons and totally unexposed.
Only win a maiden and an interesting newcomer.
Could round off a good week for the jockey.

Bashosh just missed out in a very tight finish. Very close and no stewards involved despite a messy run in.

and off the track for 698 days, ridden by Colin Keane. I can just see Barney Curley watching on the hill from behind the gorse bushes through his binoculars…..

    Cash
    Win
Not seen since springtime when touched off in a group three by WESTOVER.
Jamie Spencer rides and of course anything can happen.
Derby runner Westover had a chequred season but won well in Irish derby.
Cash dropping in class and trip has the ability to win this first time out but all depends on the jockey and wether he’ll act on the all weather.

Very good young jockey with ability but has his own ideas about the game.
Could be anything and often employs exaggerated hold up tactics. May give his horse too much to do, precocious but obvious talent. A bit of a thinker…….

Chorlton lane was hugely impressive and toyed with his rivals when last seen.
Checking all angles before selection is confirmed but this looks like a win bet!

Nope! Nails Murphy’s form when he had to work hard to get on top has been franked.
While chorlton lane could be anything although he did look impressive but no horse toiling behind has gone in to support the visual.

Two more very late withdrawals too late to act on. Horse went under the stalls and one refused to go in.
