Lots of interesting points. Iread somewhere recently (can’t remember where) that more Grammar schools were closed under Thatcher than any other PM since the disastrous introduction of the Comprehensive system – which really did **** up bright working-class kids.<br>Shoplifters? Chop an arm off.
