Fell in the 3.30 at Kempton and was fatally injured. Another one with a broken back. Just too many horses with this fate at the moment.
But what do you expect when a horse falls three times in its last five races??? He also made bad mistakes in other races he completed.
The ground is much quicker now than a few weeks or months ago and every fall occurs at a higher speed and on firmer ground.
Another one from my list of horses to follow gone. The Cockney Mackem’s confidence seemed totally shot lately, so the tight turns of Kempton were probably asking a lot from a horse who would have gained a lot from something more gentle.
