Persian Force for Hannon and Duchray for the Johnstons look bred for this so will be interested to see their odds along with Beach Breeze, but I prefer the first two.
March 25, 2022 at 12:26 #1589668Well Persian Force is 5/4 favourite, Beach Breeze 4/1 second favourite and Duchray a non-runner, don’t think I’ll be having a bet.
March 25, 2022 at 13:01 #1589676Good luck to you Ben. It’s always a guessing game this race, but I have went for Knowwhatimeanharry at 33-1 ew with B365 who are offering 4 places
March 25, 2022 at 13:12 #1589687Probably a good shout to play a big odds ew shot in this race mate, that tactic has paid dividends in big maidens over the last few seasons.
March 25, 2022 at 14:49 #1589697I’m tempted to say Brondesbury or Provideo but, with each passing year, there are fewer left who know what I’m on about.
In an ever-changing world, it’s nice to see this race still kicking off the Flat Turf season.
How many January foals in the line up?

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"March 25, 2022 at 15:43 #1589703March 25, 2022 at 23:48 #1589769I like Blatant for last year’s winning connections. But also Knowwhatimeanharry looks quite interesting for Bill Turner.
Tough to imagine a winning odds-on shot in THIS race. Maybe Nathan lumpen on.
March 26, 2022 at 11:09 #1589818As a betting proposition, ff you haven’t got inside information or at the course to see them in the paddock – forget it. Even a lot of inside information is questionable too.
Value Is EverythingMarch 26, 2022 at 11:33 #1589821You bring back some special memories with those two, Ian.
Always thought Brondesbury had so much speed could’ve been better if there were 4f races. May have done better too without Soba.
Despite Provideo not being anywhere near the best two year old of the season, Timeform made him Horse Of The Year believing the number of victories merited it. If I remember rightly not many years later Timeless Times matched it.
Value Is EverythingMarch 26, 2022 at 13:07 #1589853Beach Breeze at 10s, for me.
Best of luck to all
March 27, 2022 at 11:50 #1589985Sad to see ‘The Last Lion’, the last Brocklesby winner to win a 2yo Group 1, died at Kempton yesterday.
