This race is a lot like the Hunt Cup and probably the hardest race of the week to find the winner in for most.Generally speaking its won by nothing more than a good handicapper, few go on to Group success. Its a race I love and have been very lucky in and this year I’m hoping that continues. The Stats horse here has to be Mutarkarez 10/1,he ticks a lot of boxes and visually looks like a horse going places. The only thing thats against him is I’m no fan of his jockey. My own selection though is War Envoy 16/1,those who look at form figures will soon discard his chances but a deeper look into his form shows this fellow could surprise at a big price. His run against ‘Gleneagles’ makes him fav so any double figure price has to be taken e/w to 5 places imo..Good luck if you’re a player. The dark horse in this could be Malaf 25/1 but this is only his 4th start.

Nath I do 2 festivals a year,Cheltenham and Royal Ascot and I seriously contemplated doing another ‘How to win £10k in 5 days’ thread such is my confidence for this years Royal meeting but sometimes my shyness gets the better of me.Tuesday was all about Buratino at 10/1,Wednesday was all about GM Hopkins 16/1/Spark Plug 25/1 and yesterday was all about Kingfisher at 25/1.I was so pissed off at being robbed in the Gold cup again..re Age of Aquarius at 16/1 I totally hammered War Envoy 20’s down.I have had an unbelievable Royal Ascot and thats simply down to another legendary team in Coolmore. The way things have panned out I can see Ryan riding another half dozen winners between now and tomorrow one of which is Due Diligence at 10/1..
