Well I wasn’t intending to take to the scribe board for quite some time but as it is you Nathan that changes things and very happy to slip in a few mire words.
I know you are going through the ringer at the moment with your loss but you have surmounted many difficulties in the past and although this is different I do hope you get through this and do feel for you.
I have not seen heard or communicated with my brother in all of eight years and he has largely cut himself off from the rest of the family.
As for collecting ceramic dolls I just wouldn’t know. This is a remark I heard on the crouching menace in the corner and I don’t know which programme or whether it was an advert but I heard the remark and it interested me.
I am a carer and yesterday I cooked three dinners ( fish chips and peas + roast chicken, boiled potatoes, peas, Brussels Sprouts and gravy + a chicken curry plus boiled rice and peas. I would normally go tomorrow and cook but I am attending a funeral in the afternoon. Anyway after cleaning and washing up it took me an hour to get “home” and I was expecting a meal ready for me but all I was presented with was a lady who had tired herself out walking some great distance along the banks of the River Thames.
I felt quite energetic so cracked on to cook two more meals – Bolognese and Spaghetti and of course there was some parmesan in a small packet.
I think what you do on a Saturday night rather defines you. I am in the servile community and am happiest in the company of slaves.
I will break off for a moment because I am being waited on tonight and am about to eat – surprisingly fish !I am back….
As far as Saturday nights – on one side of the spectrum you have Ian’s biscuit club. I am a paid up member, but will sometimes replace the biscuit with a large wedge of mature cheddar and my coffee might have some alcoholic content. On the other side of the spectrum we have the clubbers and the freak outers. Mr Pilsen adheres to this group. Next Saturday is the scariest night on the calendar and he is actually going out as himself. I only hope he comes back safely without any bites and no masks attack him. Nibbling on a biscuit gives the utmost pleasure and your head stays on.
