Lalor has questions to answer going right handed and the ground may not have been to his liking in Sandown. He has done it in Cheltenham on good ground and that will stand to him. 10/1 a great price; 4-1 was too short.
Did anyone see Getabird? Ran well in a beginners chase at Punchestown today. Hard to know if he’s an Arkle or JLT horse
December 9, 2018 at 15:58 #1388682Getabird was very impressive today, but going left handed is a worry. Obviously a worry to Mullins too as he said limerick at Christmas because it’s right handed
December 9, 2018 at 15:59 #1388683Probably neither Vautour as Getabird looking a right handed track horse says trainer.
December 9, 2018 at 16:44 #1388686Yeah; seems that way alright. Limerick at Xmas and then where? Will he will Cheltenham altogether?
December 9, 2018 at 17:05 #1388691I can understand Mullins wanting to avoid hot opposition and a left handed track both together for only his second start over fences…but watching his run today I don’t know if he’s as one sided as all that. He jumped well and pretty straight today and he led on the left leg quite often too.
If it looks like he isn’t going to be quite top class or is a bad traveller or something I suppose they could just keep him for Fairyhouse and Punchestown but if he is really decent I think he will go to Cheltenham, especially as there don’t appear to be any novice ultra superstars over 2-2.5 yet. Being a P2P winner I would think JLT but it depends, as ever, what else Mullins has for each race. Mind you he looked quite quick over his fences for a beginner so I suppose Arkle possible too.
December 9, 2018 at 17:48 #1388695Graham Wylie was saying Voix De Reve is going for the 2m Novice Chase at Leopardstown so I’d say he’d want to keep them apart
December 26, 2018 at 14:13 #1390272Good from Getabird until final flight and good from Hardline too. Getabird probably more of a 2.5 miler
December 26, 2018 at 16:36 #1390308No flights in chases thewexfordman

With all the other main contenders disappointing recently, everything is in Kalashnikov’s favour if he does the business tomorrow.
December 26, 2018 at 17:00 #1390313Le Richbourg won a far better race today than Kalashnikov is in tomorrow. Le Richbourg currently has the strongest form.
Sorry yeats, is flight not an alternative name for Jump?
December 26, 2018 at 17:28 #1390318Lalor isn’t finished yet wexford.
December 26, 2018 at 18:04 #1390327A flight is just a hurdle thewexfordman, not a fence.
True Kalishnikov’s position is based on potential but he might have to surpass Le Richebourgs form to win tomorrow.
December 26, 2018 at 19:00 #1390333He might be mike
December 27, 2018 at 13:48 #1390380Kalashnikov defeat opens up the race some more.
December 27, 2018 at 13:58 #1390383I was totally against samcro going chasing, they have totally ruled it out
BUT
if he were to lose on sat and the antepost favs are being beaten every other day atm
Could be time to back him for this before saturday.
December 27, 2018 at 14:00 #1390384Dynamite Dollars and Le Richbourg are the two with the best form now. I don’t see anything esle putting their hand up yet.
December 27, 2018 at 22:03 #1390441Surely Melon should be have a crack over fences now after the main protagonists faltering recently?
December 27, 2018 at 22:24 #1390442Why would they switch melon when he has a brilliant chance to win the champion hurdle
