Sorry for the OTT title, but that was oh so so so so impressive.

    He looks superb.

He looks (possibly) an absolute superstar……. in the best Trophy for years.

An absolute crusier and what a turn of foot.

What does everyone else think, am I getting ahead of myself?

Already done something Sea The Stars didn’t as a 2yo – win a Group 1 beating the best 2 year olds around.

I would like to see it win the triple crown, would be perfect.

I’m wary of him staying 12f, MRW, let alone 14f.

He looked like a bit of a machine but he’s an awful long way to go to be the best ever to come out of Ballydoyle.

    He’s no Nijinsky or Istabraq……….yet!

Just very exciting to see a top class, head above shoulders two year old..

The thing about this year is have we seen Aidens crop of 2 year old future stars because of the ground situation in Ireland….

Wonder what else he has. He had a lovely winner at Navan the other day too..

Just think how many Group 1s Aidan would have had this year if Sea The Stars hadn’t been around.

I’ve a feeling normal service will resume next year and Ballydoyle will carry all before them again.

Very impressive, though I’m unsure about the quality of the field. I thought he looked a bit green as he raced clear, so there may be even better ahead

I commented earlier on how we have not seen some of the best Ballydoyle two year olds this year due to ground.

I was shocked to discover that Aidens stats so far for 2 year olds is best since 2005.

    2009 – 20%
    2008 – 7%
    2007 – 16%
    2006 – 9%

Im quite suprised by that. How much firepower, seen and unseen does he have?

Im actually very happy for Ballydoyle/Coolmore after trying in vain to beat Sea The Stars this year.

Those are his GB figures. You need to select irish flat from the drop down. His figures are better than that overall.

    That was indeed impressive.
I agree, he has the potential to be the best AOB horse.
Can’t think of a better AOB two year old. Not many by any two year old. Brilliant performance, deseves to be a short priced favourite of 2000 and Derby.

An impressive win but Paddy Power going 5/2 for Teh Derby is extracting the urine.

    Apalachee?

It seemed everyone was talking this race up on the potential of the runners more than anything else but the winner was in a league of his own.

Visually impressive but slow pace, soft ground may have played into his hands.

O’Brien, who might know better than us lot, described it as ‘unbelievably special’ and I’d take note of that. Horse looked very athletic, high head carriage last furlong (thread on the forum discussing that trait among O’Brien runners recently I think).

Very exciting horse to go into next year with though.

Could it be like 1970 – Nijinsky and 1971 – Mill Reef/Brigadier Gerard. Like buses you get one (Sea The Stars)and then another one comes along immediately.
