my English is not very good I use a translator I apologize
a thousand times thank you and very quickly on the forum to exchange once I have become familiar
take good care of yourself in these difficult timesvery friendly
October 31, 2020 at 22:13 #1508149Welcome to the forum, Cendrelume
November 1, 2020 at 10:11 #1508187Hi Cendrelune, great to have you. French NH racing gets a bit neglected (by punters if not some trainers) on these shores despite the fact that we need to come to you to buy a lot of our best ones. I really like the look of it and would love to go to Autueil some day. So pretty and those jumps!!
What do you think about Compiegne today?
I have backed Monsieur Lecoq and Equation in the big races. The betting says the mare has no chance but I like Clayeux, he is my favourite French trainer.Do you know if Ebonite was OK after her fall the last time she ran? Where is the best place to read about French NH racing?- I look at the English translation of the France Galop website and attheraces.com sometimes has French trainers in their stable tours like this:
https://www.attheraces.com/stable-tours/emmanuel-clayeuxI would like it if I could read a bit more but will need google translate and a French- English dictionary to hand! Are there any sites with free sections, like a French version of the online Racing Post, with trainers talking about their horses?
Anyway enjoy The Racing Forum and feel free to wave the tricolore when Easysland absolutely canters all over our horses in the XC at Cheltenham again
November 1, 2020 at 23:09 #1508295Hi greengrass :)
for compiegne, I could see only the big steeplechase and my heart is for AJAS , coached by david cottin, my favorite trainer :) who trains the fabulous EASYSLAND as well as the future star of Auteuil LE BERRY and horses for UK owners including the superb debut of PICADILLY LILLY for Mr Cohen, he has too many horses for Mr MAC MANUS and other.
I also love emmanuel clayeux, and gabriel leenders, trainers very respectful of their horses.unfortunately EBONITE left us, she could not be saved, I cried just like her entourage, she joined the stars and all the horses that we love and who live in our hearts.
sorry, no forum in France like racing post or like this forum, facebook pages yes but not all.
agree with you for EASYSLAND and Chelthenam , and after , if this horse ok, the grand national !!!!
very happy to this discussion with you,
November 2, 2020 at 00:09 #1508303I love the uk coaches: Willie Mullins, Paul Nicholls, and other
I love seeing the uk coaches come to the Auteuil and win !!!!
I hope they win the big steeplechase !!!! whether with French or uk horses.
very happy for louisa carby and docteur de ballon who won this year, that emotions!!!
my favourite French jockey: james reveley
sorry, no specific website or facebook about emmanuel clayeux, i search again
November 2, 2020 at 00:31 #1508305the horse in my heart forever : kauto star, denman, big’s buck, thousand stars, desert orchid, sprinter sacré, baie des iles, red rum, the queen enable, the king frankel and ohter sorry for those i missing
have you news and a recent picture of long run ?
have a good day for all the members
November 2, 2020 at 21:14 #1508395Ajas ran a great race and nearly got there for you- I’ll look out for him in future. Cottin is doing so well and it’s nice to hear about the trainers being in sympathy with their horses, that is the impression I get from Clayeux. I am sorry to hear about Ebonite- she was my favourite French horse.
I didn’t back Louisa Carberry’s horse in the Grand Steep but glad she won. I also hope Willie Mullins wins it some day- Patrick said it was one race they’d really love to win.
I don’t know how Long Run is doing but they chose a good time to retire him and I’m glad that his owner/rider gave him an easy time in his last race even though he got a 7 day ban for it.
Good luck for the winter season
November 3, 2020 at 00:46 #1508429Welcome to the TRF forum Cendrelume. You’ve found a very good group of knowledgeable racing fans and people.
November 3, 2020 at 00:46 #1508430Welcome to our Forum Cendrelune and hope you enjoy competitions we have lots of them on here, sadly not a lot of French racing though but you could possibly put that right.
Persian King is a favourite of mine and Andre Fabre and have enjoyed watching some of the top class races from Longchamp and Chantilly. Flat racing is more my passion I’m not too familiar with the jumps races in France.
Take some time to explore the Forum and get familiar with all the different Topics that we discuss and feel free to join in or start a Topic of your own.
Once again a warm welcome.Jac

As many will know on here, I’m a huge fan of Pierre-Charles Boudot. How he
managed to keep Fancy Blue’s head in front when winning the Prix de Diane I’ll
never know, but he did me a huge favour. There are a few French followers in
here, especially in the big races, I’ve had the occasional dabble myself. I hope
