The two Thai fishermen who raped and murdered an English woman 18 DAYS ago sentenced to death today. Any chance of New Labour outsourcing our criminal justice system to the Thais ?
.. in theory nothing at all. The only problem with the plan is that Cherrie would get her P45, so it’s not very likely.
Even in Thailand, its not cut and dried.
To execute criminals who have admitted their guilt for the crime is nearly unheard of in Thailand. And this sentance was only bestowed so the authorities look firm in they’re stance internationally, when really they know this will be reduced to a life sentance after it goes to appeal.<br>Seems there is political spin everywhere, not just a new labour invension.
