Anyone else see the 2.10 at Huntingdon today? Having last seen Ten Pole Tudor run pretty averagely at Wolverhampton just before Christmas I was suprised to see him go hurdling, even more suprised to see him wander past the post in second.
As someone who likes to ‘follow’ a horse, he showed enough for me to want to keep an eye out for his future runs, do those sort of maiden races tend to give any clues on a horses future or should I take it with a pinch of salt?

I think the price he went off, it was expected to be a walk in the park. I’ll keep an eye out on him running in a sterner test. Ten Pole Tudor too.
Other than seeing how Medermit gets on next week, I need something to get me interested in hurdling.

You picked the wrong race I’m afraid – poor stuff with hardly a horse who really had any kind of hurdling profile.

I think it might be the wrong discipline actually. I probably never get really interested in hurdling unless more courses install ‘fixed brush’
