Not sure how you’d get a Yankee from that lot although there’d be 3249 lines in four folds alone.
Still, I watch with great anticipation.
Could have been worse, 2 out of 4 although although I’m not quite sure how you can make a profit covering all the horses in a race (Could be one for Gingertipster)
Anyway to kick on with Tanya’s Titbits for York on Friday
1.55 – “Only 2 of the last 10 favourites have won”
How do I lay the fav if I don’t know what it will be? Maybe best to lay the shortest priced just before the off and hope for the best but then again isn’t 2 out 10 quite good if they’re going 6/1 the field?
2.30 – “17 of the last 20 winners have come from the first 3 in the betting”
Seems to be a common theme here that you can’t go far wrong if you concentrate on the first 3 in the betting, the hardest part appears to be knowing you’ve backed the right 3 prior to the off.
3.05 – “8 out of the last 10 winners came from the first 3 in the betting” ( :good:)
3.40 – “Over the last 20 years prices of the winners have ranged from 4/9 to 100/1” (Nap)
