My Dad has always dreamt of owning a NH horse but has never been in a financial position to do so. I would therefore like to surprise him but my situation only allows me to look at syndicates.

Could you guys provide some advise and possible syndicates to look at. I am based in the west country close to Bath and would prefer a local syndicate.

    Thanks

    Nick

This may not be what your looking for but Horses First are based in Warminister, Wiltshire.

The club is extremely well run and excellent value. I know a couple of members and it comes hightly recommended.

Im with the Racegoers Club Owners Group

Have a little hair in Senora Snoopy with Ferdy Murphy.

Been good fun, was at Haydock last year in the paddock when she ran and it is very enjoyable.

You could always ask Harry Findlay for a 1% share in Denman or Gungadu

You´re nto far wide of the mark there Neil. I think that Horses First have one of the ex-Findlay horses in The Empty Tin – he´s definitely not in Denman or Gun´s league but he´s capable of picking up a few small chases.

I’m sure that thousands of very satisfied ERC members including myself would be interested to know how we’re being conned…….

I’ve got a 1/10th share in a horse with Alex Hales in Northamptonshire. A bit of a way from Bath, but it’s a really friendly yard, really good facilities, and you’re always well looked after by the trainer on stable visits. His website is at http://www.alexhales.co.uk and if you click ‘Horses for Sale’, you’ll often find him offering shares in horses at very reasonable prices (The 2 year old Robellino filly from a German family that’s sold out is the one I’ve bought!).

Aren’t the horses only leased though Neil not owned, not worth doing imo.
I was a member in the past when you actually owned the horses.

How much do you want to pay denman54 and what size of share?

If you can´t see then there´s little point in explaining.

Saying that i have a lovely 2yo in training in the North, we have 9,000 shares going at 500 pound each and then 100 pound per month training fees all included, you get one stable visit a year and if you want to can go racing at extra cost.

I guess it is leased but i like to say own as it sounds better and people seem to think you have a few bob.

Plan for next season i hope is to go Novice Chasing and hopefully win a few races as opposed to suffering from seconditus.
