Vicctorino is the right favourite after he won here last time and gone up only 3 pounds. I will give Highstakesplayer another chance. He ran quite poorly at Newbury and Kempton, but earlier he was second here over course and distance behind Chianti Classico. That was on good ground, I suppose ground will be similar saturday. Highstakesplayer is on a lower mark now, surely he must have a decent chance.

I’d thrown a couple of pounds at Sam Brown earlier in the week, but never expected him to go, so more or less looking at this from scratch.
Highstakesplayer was close to bring the bet DBR, but I’ve went with Annsam at 9-1, who looks as if he’s been brought along nicely for something like this

Going change come race times, possible?Surprised Victtorino didn’t get a National entry, but I’m sure he’ll take his chance one day. Until then I suspect he’ll be a mainstay in these staying handicaps. He’ll be my play here off a mark I’m sure is short of his full ability (I have accepted that he is perhaps not quite grade 1 material).
A difficult choice in this, so i’ve stuck with
Terresita 15/2, and boosted by 25% on that price (with 365)

I thought ‘my girl’ was going to catch ’em both. Cannon prob should’ve moved up just a bit sooner than he did, me thinks.
