Can someone kindly tell me who would have the final word on canceling Racing? I don’t generally get involved in politics as it’s boring and I’m selfish
Boris would only be advised and maybe get the gig as announcer. So, would it be the so-called health secretary and odious weasel Hancock? Or maybe graveyard-voiced Whitty?
I have seen the rumour from one source on Twitter who does not himself name his source.
I shall start to be concerned if a MSM source I consider trustworthy starts touting it.

Doesn’t matter about my question above now. I was asking for a friend, but he’s now said that he’ll post a letter to all of them, and then weirdly added that he’d put some rice in. Strange fella.
The government has denied it intends to suspend elite sport.
Given it said it was not going to close schools and then did 24 hours later, this is not looking good…

Yes Ian, back to when it was cancelled last year. I tried a few bets on the South African racing and Swedish trotting for a couple of weeks, then I knocked it on the head.
Each to their own, sir.
I take the view if I do not wish to bet on South African or harness racing in normal times, why should I suddenly want to do it when UK racing is suspended?
