Glad I was on at best odds guaranteed! When I saw how much he had drifted I was worried. He must have some engine to win after a mistake and having to avoid the faller.
March 10, 2020 at 13:48 #1485216Well done Shishkin backers and hard luck Aba backers, two super horses. It didn’t seem the smartest thing to ride Elixir to the right of Asterion but he wouldn’t have got near the winners anyway.
March 10, 2020 at 13:49 #1485218Fantastic Shishkin! Not the easiest of passes, but he was very strong at the finish. Again, a bit reminiscent of the great Altior.
March 10, 2020 at 14:02 #1485222That was a terrific finish, well done all on Shiskin and bad luck those on Abacadabras,
neither deserved to lose, unfortunately someone has to.I’m glad Chantry House managed 3rd, bagged the 20s E/W back in December (page 4). After seeing
that today I don’t think he was even going to beat the front two.March 10, 2020 at 14:07 #1485224Just shows how good envoi allen is
He comfortably held abacadabras
His form been massively franked there
March 10, 2020 at 14:09 #1485226Great finish
I did Shishkin on the betfair offer yesterday before the drift but not on skybet.
Still can’t complain
well done winnersCharles Darwin to conquer the World
March 10, 2020 at 14:37 #1485234I’d say that looked a decent renewal too. Allart has ran well even back in 5th. Captain Guinness was in the process of running a nice race.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!March 10, 2020 at 17:00 #1485278With Shishkin and possibly Envoi Allen going chasing next season, Abacadabras is going to take some beating in the Champion Hurdle next March.
March 10, 2020 at 23:18 #1485369Gladiateur, really? I mean i expect him to be there and run well, but take some beating, really?
March 11, 2020 at 07:21 #1485396Shishkin scenes
March 11, 2020 at 11:35 #1485438Would you really take Abracadabras out of the race?! Even though Shiskin made a bad error down the back, was nearly brought down turning for home and still ran him down late on? Abra looks a very god horse, but Shiskin won the race when everything went wrong on ground that was softer than ideal. Hard to envisage a scenario where he reverses the form for me.
March 11, 2020 at 11:42 #1485441It would be interesting Flex, as while Shishkin had a much harder passage, Aba having a clear one really isn’t perfect for him, he hit the front too soon, and i think he’d have enjoyed having cover for longer.
Not saying i’d take Aba over Shishkin just that neither had perfect races.
